Because I missed posting this last monday. I basically walked the helpdesk guy through how to tell if you are part of a network or not, as well as WHY you may not be able to leave a network. If you were added to a network, that network dictates your internet access, and you are NOT the creator of that network/do not have appropriate permissions, you may have windows pop up and tell you to "fuck off, you ain't leaving!" I originally called because my school access website is super slow and throwing apache errors in my face.
Oh, but take my geek card because I didn't watch Day of the Doctor.
Take my geek card away! We've had our Blu-Ray player for a year and a half and Amazon prime for about a year. I just realized that means we can watch prime instant video on our TV. We are so. dumb.
But now I've got doctor who and firefly on my watch list!
This weekend DH and I spent a good hour trying to decide how to rearrange furniture to add a bookcase for our board game collection. Final decision- we need a bigger house with a board game room. (Too bad we can't afford that right now.)
Thats why we were at Ikea, between my dh's hording tendency, two littles who are the first grand kids on both side, and gets to be the first of each gender, I feel like I am drowning in stuff. I can't just throw everything away, so off to get more storage. I want a playroom, movie room, and game room. Anyone got some lucky lottery numbers?
Dh and I, after much insistence from our friends, finally got around to watching doctor who. It's our only lapse in geekiness I swear
I also had to explain to MIL why "no signal" on her computer monitor has nothing to do with the Internet and no the tech support guy from her Internet provider was not being lazy.

It's Tuesday, but I need to put this somewhere.
I was on pinterest tonight and there was one of those sponsored or best of/whatever pins for muffins. Except the filling in the muffin looked like the crack in Amelia Pond's wall.
So I repinned it and added that comment.
I'm waiting to see how many ( if any!) repins it gets for that. lol

I'm loling. I'm sorry.
The worst part is I used to be that person doing call centre internet support. In my head I was like "omg, MIL is one of thoooooooose"
