Well, we get to have tonsils, tubes, and adenoids out on both littles. They both still have fluid, and the littlest might have to also have some type of nose surgery. The second bone in her nose is pushing out into the cavity, and the other side is way pushed away with a lot of build up. Will find more when she is sedated. We will hear in a couple days when the schedule, I hoping in Jan, I don't want to travel with them recovering and planning on going to visit family. They also plan on drawing blood and sending it for Allergy testing. I sure they will have them, I am allergic to everything!
I know they will be better, I was older when my tonsil came out, I went from always sore throat and infections to none. Its just worry wort me. I brought up what happened to me afterwards, and the Dr told me what I can do to make sure it doesn't happen. He also said this could really help my son's speech, he is about a 1 year old level for talking, passes all the hearing test, but they think the liquid in his ears could be one of the issues. The big worry is my dd nose bones, the middle one is pushed all the way out in the cavity, and the other one is compacted. I don't want to have a baby nose job! I love her little nose, but she does snore like a old man. They want to scope it when shes sedated, and discuss it with us. then they want to clean out the compacted side. Even after 2 rounds of antibiotics, she still has a massive infection. I admit I also do not want two littles recovering at the same time. Fingers crossed they both can bounce right back.
Aw, that sucks! The surgery will help though. I had my tonsils out when I was a teenager and I really wish I would have had them out earlier. Kids are resilient with this stuff, they bounce back quick!
Oh no! Poor kiddos . Just think of it this way, as sucky as recovery with two of them will be, it will be much shorter than if you spaced them out. I hope they recover quickly.
