Hello Ladies!
Happy Tuesday :-) Anything fun happening today?
QOTD: If you work outside the home, do you have off for Christmas and New Years? Does the office close down for the week in between the two? If you don't work and are a SAHM, does your DH have time off at Xmas?
Just working from home here with DS2 (DS1 at nursery). Hoping to Crossfit tonight. Late nights last weekend and I am still not recovered. How do the young people do it??!!
QOTD: DH is taking Dec 20th to Jan 2 off. I am egging him on to take more but he hoards vacation days and wants to keep 5 to roll over for next year. I'm trying to wrap up my work by the end of next week too so we can kick back together.
Nothing fun. I really need to do laundry, because I've been putting it off since the weekend. I came down with a stomach ache Friday night, and it's been draining my energy. Even now, I just want to go home and curl up in bed. I hope my stomach feels better soon.
QOTD: Public holidays are Dec 25 & 26 and Jan 1. This year our office is also giving us Dec 24 & 31.

Doing laundry today for the most part. Giving DD a bath which will take at least an hour (in the actual tub that is).
QOTD: I work in a family practice clinic. We will be closed on Xmas day and on New Year's Day only. I will be taking the week after off however. DH is a doc and so he works a half a day on Xmas day (hospital only, their clinic is closed). What time he gets done depends on how busy it is. He could be done at 9 or at 1. Hopefully the former since we wil be hosting Xmas for friends later that day.

I had an interview today for a part-time gig. Interesting. We'll see how it turns out.
QOTD: my DH is a contractor, so he can take off what he wants - he's taking the week between Christmas and New Years off. My school stuff ends on the 20th and starts back up on the 6th.

Forgot to answer my own question :-P
Yesterday was just a normal day at work, and then I got my hair colored last night! Nothing too exciting :-)
QOTD: Yep, we're very lucky. Christmas is not a public holiday here (Muslim culture), but b/c we're an American university, we're off Dec 24, 25, 31 and Jan 1. Our office is open during the week between Christmas and New Years!

Just answering the question part.
QOTD: My office is fairly flexible. I will not work the major holidays. One thing I like about my company is that they are really great about "work-life balance". It is not a lip service concept for them. Everyone there is pretty happy and they all "have lives".
