I've done what I believe is Olivenight but this is my all time favorite. It's soooo flattering and soft.
And here's my Physician's Formula eyeshadow palette. LOVE it. I use the light as a highlighter and the dark when I want something more dramatic than the above.
I like that physicians formula one. I would ever use the black one though.

Very pretty! I have actually heard great things about that Physician's formula palette. I have never tried any of their shadows, but I was watching some youtube reviews. I don't think I have copperplate, but I will have to get that. It is pretty!

I use that one as a powder liner.
I really love this palette but it's broken and busted up. I think Naked 3 will be a great replacement.
nursewife I have been meaning to ask you, how do you like the lorac pro?
I totally understand you wanting to have an extra set. That would be super convenient.
I love it so far! I haven't had a huge chance to experiment with it yet though. I love how pigmented it is! The first time I applied it I was amazed at how little product is needed to have a lot of colour and impact. I'm hoping I can go to the mall tomorrow so I have an excuse to play up my makeup a little bit.
Yeah, I haven't had a chance to use any of my new palettes lol I still have one that I have to pick up from the office, because it was delivered when I was not home

I have blue-grey eyes so it works well with my eye color but definitely don't think it will work for everyone. I actually started using it after @theycalledherkate blogged about it a couple of years ago. LOVE it.

I have blue eyes too, so I definitely want to check it out. It just looks so smooth, and perfect. I love that variety that Mac shadows have, and they always seem to blend well, and have good pigmentation.

Agreed! I've tried a few Macs and I like them all but this one has been my favorite for the past couple of years.
I'm the same way @kirkette I hate having to sharpen liners. I've used many different sharpeners, and I still always manage to destroy the eye liner. I really like my new Marc Jacobs liner since the end twists, and more comes out. I love those kinds of liners. If the UD was like that, I'd be even more sold!

I think part of the reason that people don't run to get Mac is, because for the palettes, you actually have to put work into picking the colors. The naked is put together for you with colors that will work. I think picking out your own colors can be intimidating, if you aren't used to makeup. When I first made my first palette, I watched tons of youtube videos, and wrote down all of their favs. I compiled a list of the top favorites, and bought those. I am such a dork lol

I still love Mac, but I hate trying to get the eyeshadow out of the original pot for the palettes. I definitely have a few favourite colours that I do to. I keep hearing good things about the Rihanna collection.

I know, I have about 40 that aren't depotted, and I am afraid to try out of fear of ruining them. The ones I have in the palette though are great.

I used liquid liners for awhile, but for the past year(?) I've been lining my lids with Blackout from the Smoked palette.
I really like liquid, but because I'm boring, I only have black. I'd really like to get the Stila set of liquid eyeliners so I have more shades to experiment with.
I just have MAC All That Glitters and Woodwinked and that's it. I love them, but I'm tired of the pots.
My life is casual, nobody wears makeup here anyway, so how about a small palette? Don't need Naked. I have nondescript brown eyes and medium warm toned skin.
I love those shades. I really like Shroom for a lighter colour. I love how well Woodwinked blends.

I would love to, and I am a one trick pony after all lol
First, you picked a few of my fav shadows from Mac. I would recommend this smashbox photo op palette for brown eyes, or lorac pro. Lorac Pro is bigger, but it is oh so very fabulous

I think I may sign back up for the MAC PRO program to get 30% off... I had it but it expired. I really really love a lot of MAC shadows - I LOVE a few UD shadows, but most are too frosty for me to use every day.
How do you get signed up for that? lol I need it lol

Right now you can get lorac pro for 20% off at Ulta. They sent everyone a coupon.
They were sold out online but I picked one up from beauty.com with a $10 off 50 coupon from retailmenot

I'm with mofongo. I know a lot more about poop than I do about make up. How sad.
I have to tell you though, this "peer pressure" is a real thing. I'm so ready to buy a palette. Thank God I don't have any extra money right now. It would be a waste. When I apply make up I look like this:

Why not buy the pans (without the pots)? Or do you mean ones you already own? They have magnets on the back to help stay in the palettes.

Everyone needs to pip when they use it.
For the pots I already have at home. It would be so much easier if I could just buy few big palettes and put them inside. I just have a hard time getting them out without the product breaking.

I used an awesome tutorial. Let me see if I can find it.

I have about 40 pots lol sadly, I was an idiot and got them before I was into making palettes and such lol

nursewife here's the tutorial. It was SUPER easy and I didn't break any shadows. I depotted my MAC and Lancôme shadows. They're the same size and fit into MAC palettes. The Lancôme ones were MUCH harder than the MAC ones.
