One and a few stocking stuffers is what I always did. Although, ds figured out there is no Santa a week before Thanksgiving so even though the present will say "santa" he knows it is from me.

Each kid is getting roughly 10 gifts. I'm not sure what will be from us and what will be from Santa. We usually put our names on the practical gifts (clothes, new lunchbox) and the educational stuff (math games!). Santa doesn't give a rip about practicality and education apparently.

I ferreted out as much as I can off their wish lists to grandmas and aunts. Whatever isn't covered I get. This year that only leaves like one gift apiece and one to share. We will be gone Christmas Day and my family buys stocking stuffers so that will ne done too;). Thanks to cyber Monday Santa only spent about $30 on each kids big gift plus little mermaid for the family collection.
We bought them a new kitchen, a basketball hoop for DS, and the singing Ariel doll for dd.
As an aside, we are giving their old kitchen to a family in need. I want those kids to have the kitchen in time for Christmas. My kids are going to wonder where the eff their kitchen went until we give them the new one on Christmas day. Any ideas?
Why can't you tell them the truth? Well, the truth plus a little white lie: "There are some little boys and girls who don't have a kitchen to play with so I'd like you to give them yours. Then you can ask Santa for a new kitchen for Christmas!"

All of the Christmas gifts are from Santa, I think he has about ten things that will go under the tree and then stocking stuffers. I didn't get him anything big this year.
I am wrong, we are giving him pjs and a movie on Christmas Eve and that will be from us.

Pretty sure this is what my mom did when we were growing up. Toys were from Santa, clothes were from mom & dad.
4 from Santa, 4 from us, and stockings are from us. from Santa: a race car toy that spins the cars around and shoots them out, a rocking horse, an activity cube and some plastic squishy blocks. From us: bristle blocks, puzzles, a tool bench and some cars. Stocking: a fire truck, forks and spoons, a flashing ball, slippers

Yep, this is what I do too. Only a few practical/clothes from us. Toys show up unwrapped & in piles for each kid on Christmas morning. I put some decent stuff in stockings like a Skylander, jewelry or whatever, along with candy, etc.

Well the presents under the tree have gotten a bit ridiculous like every year but its mostly clothes. From Santa, a new duvet cover and pillow shams along with a nice warm comforter/duvet. For stocking stuffers, nail stuff including seche base and top coat (I have to buy another top cost since mine went missing and I busted out the stocking stuffer one), aloe infused pedi socks, candy, a cheer bow she was fawning over at Saturdays competition which was "bought" before I got over there. I need a few more things for her sticking do I'll probably get a Starbucks gift card and not sure what else.
5 year old is getting 4 from Santa; toddler is getting 2. When they are older I plan to make it even, but the toddler really doesn't need anything right now, and she doesn't care.
Normally DH likes the big gift to be from us and smaller gifts from Santa. SDs dont believe anymore and arent getting one big gift this yearand DS is only 1. I wrap everything and I dont care enough to figure it out so everything is from Santa. I bought my own Naked palette, wrapped it and labeled it from Santa 15 minutes ago.
