My brother still calls dd booger even though she's 14. In his defense, she always walked around the house with a finger up her nose as a toddler. My mom used to say filling her pants as well.

My DH adds " ie" to words. He gets it from his family. It used to annoy me, but now I am one of them. Examples- I am reading a book, DH will say I am reading a bookie. H will want to know if I want a drink, he will ask if I want a drinkle.

I ask Clara if she wants to "go uppie" in public all the time, meaning if she wants me to pick her up and I JUST realized because of this thread that maybe I should stop.

I have a friend whose vocabulary is primarily made up of paci, nookie (nukki? for pacifier), 'sposies and diappies. She also tries to blog (on FB).

Oh and as a kid, my mother would sing-song this rhyme " life is a bummer wha-um-mer" whenever we cried no fair. I hated that song. It was incredibly annoying in in patronizing way.

Ive never heard any of these.

My SIL uses nephews full name all the time (like in that mom "youre in trouble" voice). He's like 15 months. She also does it to my brother. I find that creepy.

I dislike the term "littles" too.

Hopefully I don't piss too many people off because I know a lot of people around here say this, but the term "outside baby" kind of grates on me.

Take all this for what it's worth since I don't have kids.
