I have food poisoning, which is awesome. I was up most of last night - I kept waking up on the bathroom floor, and then just deciding to stay there. I feel more stable this morning, but like someone beat me up. And now my SIL is bugging me about Christmas plans (that they changed on us last minute, and now want to change again), and I just want to be all:
In the past 96 hours, Mr Cville has built a workbench for his woodworking, baked cookies, built a computer from parts, let me go back to sleep at 7 when O woke up, and done the grocery shopping.
Ugh. OMG. I'm so sorry. I saw your FB post and think you looked absolutely beautiful. And you are so gorgeous, I know I tell you that all the time but I guess that's not the point. He was so out of line, I just can't imagine saying that to someone. I don't even know what I'd say in that situation.

Yesterday I was talking to my mom and mentioned I was probably going to go out and see my cousin who just had a baby in February or so. She was all, "Oh! Let us know and we'll drive out!" I'm annoyed because my trip will likely be very short, I've never been out to see my cousin before, and I'd like to just see THEM, not also deal with my parents. I have no intention of telling my mom when I'm going, but she'll probably find out when my cousin tells my aunt, who will tell my mom. YAY hurt feelings!

My brother just called to tell me that my niece's one week old son was diagnosed with CF. They are so devastated right now. They have an appointment with a specialist at the end of the month so we will know more then.
My brother and SIL have lost two children and seeing their oldest go through this is just killing them.
I loved the music of Frozen so much I bought the soundtrack "for my daughter." We've been enjoying listening to it pretty much every day since last week. That's normal, right?

I really love that man.
Next time I get married, it'll be to mrville. Or someone like him. Does he have a brother? Is he not an artist?

idoinjuly you should have asked him when he became a huge asshole!! What a dick.
We got up and went out to breakfast then braved TRU for a couple gifts for the little nephews. Now we're home, H is cleaning out/up the garage, and I'm supposed to be cleaning the kitchen and making a grocery list. Instead I'm drinking coffee and playing here.
Our neighbor brought over chocolate mint mary ann cakes. Omg, so delicious. It's like living across the street from a keebler elf. She LOVES Christmas and she is always baking something homemade and wonderful.
The ILs come into town tonight, Christmas dinner #1 is tomorrow. Joy.

idoinjuly he sucks. my coworker once looked me up and down and said, "what happened to you? you used to be so skinny." I remember her exact phrasing because IT WAS THE WORST. god she was a dick.
random: I did something to my foot running the other day, and then I ran again yesterday and irritated it. Good thing my gym is closing for christmas break?
Hopefully this is one of those situations where you think you did worse than you actually did.
I hope so. This is something that I know I can do really well, and I have the perfect background for it. If I can just get to the next round of interviews, in person interviews, I am fairly confident that they will be able to see that I am right for the position.
This past week I saw a woman pregnant with her 7th or 8th child, I kind of lost track of the other kids, but I know there were at least 6 with her. I am always a bit amazed by people who are able to do this, I know that mentally, there is no way I would survive, but she seemed totally cool.

We just got a Christmas card from one of H's cousins and his wife. They included a letter that was "written" by their dog saying things like, "Mom and Dad keep talking about some guy named Jesus and it sounds like they really love him a lot" and "Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season."
It is grating on my nerves. I don't mind referring to yourselves as Mom and Dad when you have a dog (H and I do this), and I don't mind a religious-themed holiday card from people who are religious, but something about putting them both together and pretending the dog wrote the card is making me eye roll.
Their dog is adorable though and they are the cutest couple--just married in April. I'm just feeling judgy today.
I'm heading to Buffalo on Monday! Not staying in the city, but whatevs. Love the happy puppy.
yayyyyy! are you gonna get Lloyd's?
I was midway through responding to this an hour ago and my phone died. No, we won't we are going to be in the city, except to fly in. Once we get in, we're heading down to the little town where my H grew up.

My kitchen counter looks like this right now.
It's my big baking weekend and so far I have made fudge, chocolate haystacks, shortbread, and the first layer of my salted caramel chocolate shortbread bars. I still have peanut butter balls and three types of cookies to do tomorrow and Monday.

Butting in to your convo to say that I am making this trip to Buffalo this coming week, too. 6+ hours in the car for us, too.

My DH is at Target and he said its like Black Friday there today. The security breach and subsequent 10% off is going to be a great way for them to make a few extra millions before Christmas.
I'm not sure an extra 10% off would be worth it to me to wait in the lines unless I was getting a big ticket item.

I just back from Target and ours wasn't that busy at all.

Are you going to Buffalo proper, or a town around? This is our first year flying in instead of driving from FL. YAYYYY no 15 hr drive! lol
I just talked to Paul Rudd at a store! That first autocorrected to stalked which was semi-true. He was very handsome and nice.
Where?! I love Paul Rudd. i saw him at Irish Fest a few years ago, but he was with family and I didn't want to bother him. I am incredibly jealous right now.
