I like Wordpress. There are some templates that would be great to highlight travel. My blog is under my picture but it is family stuff with travel thrown in :-)
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain

I use Blogger, and am upset that they recently redid everything. It takes me forever to get comfortable with a website, and they always change it and I have to try and figure everything out all over again.

Blogger is easier if you don't want much personalization and are happy to work within its themes. Wordpress is a bit less user-friendly but makes upgrading to an eventual self-hosted blog with infinite personalization easier. I started with Blogger and paid someone to switch me over to a Wordpress self-hosted blog because I could never have done it myself. It depends how "serious" you'd like to be (in quotes because I think you can take a hobby seriously without having it self-hosted or trying to get a huge audience, but hopefully you know what I mean).
