Hi! My parents are here visiting but I've also been getting a little work done. 3 jobs came up that I can apply for- one of which I would LOVE, and the other two would be fine.
QOTD: No, but I set goals for this year - some conservative, some ambitious - in all areas of my life, and I hope that I can meet at least those that are under my control!
BFP1: DD born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d
BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w3d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence

Good Evening where I'm at. Ihad a fun day. A mom I met at my prenatal yoga vlass and her daughter came to visit DD and me. Both girls were very cute together, responding to each other's noises.
QOTD: I don't do resolutions. My goal for this year is to win the lottery, but so far I haven't succeeded yet...

Good morning!
Not much is going on this week, because we're trying to stay cool. Our anniversary is Thursday, but with highs expected between 38-42 we decided to skip the trip to Melbourne for dinner and just stay close to home. So it will fish & chips night and we'll have anniversary dinner another time. When we got married in the US, it didn't occur to me that it would be gawdawfulhot in Australia when it came time to celebrate. So I'm in favor of moving our celebrations until July when it's much, much cooler here.

Hi there!
QOTD: I'm not big into resolutions so much as goals as well, but I do see it as a chance to start fresh with my goals. I am pushing myself to be more productive with certain interests and I'm also working to make changes this year in areas where I would like to do so. I have started with them already.

Sorry I'm late on this. I had my volunteer work on Monday and then made a spicy turkey stew for dinner. Yum. Not much going on this week other than work and research for a paper for Oxford.
QOTD: no resolutions made, so don't have to worry about following it!
Also late to the party. Not much exciting going on here this week besides meetings and trying to put an article together for a peer reviewed journal. I am having a hard time with my alcoholic mom. Well what I am having difficulty with is mostly in my head and not out there between us. But emotionally I am a bit preoccupied which makes it hard for me to be productive in any area of life outside of housework. Fortunately I have Alanon tomorrow and I can vent
QOTD: I have a few like: do my hair and nails more often. Iron my clothes. Publish 2 articles. Reach emotional freedom (yeah right).

Oops, didn't answer my own post! And Happy Tuesday, since we're responding in here :-)
Nothing exciting happening yesterday or today! Just work and prepping some things ahead of time for DH's birthday dinner on Thursday!
Oh! Justin Timberlake is coming to Abu Dhabi in May and we got tickets!! So that is exciting :-)
QOTD: Not really resolutions, just more of goals to work on - I want to work out 5-6 days a week, work on eating better (less sugar!) and try to host more events at our house.
QOTD: Cook more veggies in new ways (my basic methods are steaming, roasting and currying). I finally peeled and cooked celeriac (celery root) in the first week of the year. Haven't tackled any other previously unknown veggies or used any new methods since then, but it's only the 14th day of the year.
