I did it! And now I'm sad.

I finally finished all seven seasons of Doctor Who! I am so sad that I have to wait for season 8. I am uncertain about Capaldi. I tend to fall in love with the Doctor, and I don't think I can fall in love with a man in his 60's. Although really, my heart will always belong to Eccleston. Then Tennant. Matt Smith grew on me. I liked his anger. I think he showed that more than any other Doctor. He still couldn't hold a candle to Eccleston though. 9th Doctor Forever!

I can't pick a favorite (new) Doctor, but I'm in the minority that loved Matt Smith. I loved his goofy doctor, and I loved his and River's relationship. I fell in love with him as a "best friend."

I'm really excited about Capaldi! I think I could fall in love with him as another best friend as well. I hope season 8 explores his and Clara's friendship more.

David tennant was my favorite, but eccleston is the first doctor I knew, he will always be "the doctor" to me I loved him and cried when he regenerated. Matt smith was eh, I liked him towards the end, and I did like his style. I know I'll love capaldi also, I hear he is going to be a more ragey, dark and manipulative doctor and I'm so thrilled to see that, he has a look about him that makes me convinced he'll be excellent.

I've stalled myself midway through season 7 because I'm not ready to be done yet. This is after watching the first 6 seasons as quickly as possible.
