Hey y'all. I live over on the Seattle Board but since Blackcanary and Sequins mostly abandoned us for this board, I have pretty much NO ONE to discuss any vaguely geeky type things with *pouty face*. I'm only a half-geek, I don't really fall into any true fandoms but I dabble in some here and there.
Last year I started working my way through Doctor Who...starting with 1. I've finished 1 and am working on 2 but have started interspersing with the reboot (9) since it makes me sad that at the speed my H lets me get through the early ones, I'll completely miss out on being a part of any current fandom. I need to bust out and work through the reboots faster though so I can catch up quickly to 12 while new episodes come out.
Oh, gaming wise I used to be obsessed with Sims2 but my computer bogged too much with all the EPs and it became too frustrating to play. I dumped so much money in to that that I didn't want to invest in Sim3 (let alone not having the sysreqs). Our only console is a Wii. Most of my gaming nowadays is...ahem, a MUD. Yes, old school
I'm not really in to graphic novels or comics. The storylines and versions of the Marvel and DC characters go back so long and so far that it has always been insanely overwhelming to even consider jumping in to any of that stuff. So I've only read Watchmen, Sandman, and Preacher.
Bookwise, I'm back in to more fantasy since I've been working my way through WoT. Just started book 8 a few days ago.

WoT! Yes!
I've still not come to grips with the fact it's over. I've read those books sop many times.
I've still not read Memory of Light! I'm going to tackle it next. Scary! I'll probably cry like a baby!
