But..I am mid way through the second season on Netflix and am concerned about running out of shows in the next week or so.
I'm thinking of starting Revenge next.
we've been streaming shows on prime during the nights after working on our house and have recently gotten into Justified - very interesting - you should check it out/keep it on your list of potential shows. It's easy to keep watching episode after episode. Perfect for treadmills!
We actually have seen 2 seasons of Justified? Or maybe just one. I think Timothy Olyphant is dreamy I loved him in Deadwood. Need to start watching that one again - thanks!
thom, it's a TV show. I believe it's currently on Season 3 but the first two seasons are on Netflix. It's really good!
breezy8407, I'm only a few episodes in season 2 so I'm hoping it'll last me a while longer! Isn't it so good!? Revenge is good as well. I also have Orange is the New Black lined up.
I've heard good things about both - I think H will want to watch Orange is the New Black. I chose Scandal for the treadmill because I assume he wouldn't want to watch. We usually watch everything together.

Sometimes I'll do squats on the mill. up the incline to about 11, slow the mill down drastically so you can get on and off easily. Place your feet on each side of the mill, hold onto the front handles lightly like a ballet bar and do two sets of squats here and there between intervals etc. It changes things up and who cares if you look like a dumbass. You'll be a dumbass with a tight butt.

Currently I'm watching New Girl. Each episode is about 20 minutes so that breaks up longer runs.
Also pyramid intervals - 30 seconds fast / 30 slow 45 fast/45 slow 60 fast/ 60 slow 75 fast/75 slow 90 fast/90 slow 75 fast/75 slow Back down to 30. Then back up again.

I ran with the office playing on netflix on my iPhone today. God that was an easy run Ill be doing that a lot more often. I think even my shorter interval runs on the treadmill I'll do it. I did 20 mins with only 30 seconds of stopping for some water, by far the longest I've ever run in my life and if it wasn't for my stuffy nose and inability to breath thru my nose I could've gone even longer.
I'm really late on this but during the winter I run almost exclusively on the treadmill (messy cold vermont weather and all) which means often doing long runs of up to 13 miles on the TM. I have to have music, and lots of trashy magazines. It took me awhile to train myself to read the small print but now I am a pro and love it. I cannot run on a TM without trashy magazines.
also, I just focus on 10 minutes at a time. If I were to think "I have two hours on this thing?!?!" then I would die. I go in knowing it is going to be 2 hours, but tick it off by 10 minutes. Oh, another 10 minutes done, sweet! Only 6 more of those to go!"
