87 miles, which is definitely a new all-time January high for me.
I totally sympathize about the endless treadmill miles. Last night I resolved I WOULD RUN OUTSIDE this morning. It was 17 below zero when I headed out, but virtually no wind. I layered up & was comfortable for 3.7 miles. I should just suck it up more often & go out. Though I don't think I could do effective speed work at that temp.
This is so true. I was going to ask the board today if I am being a wimp, or if it's been that bad.
I need to get out in the single digits more. Thanks for the motivation!

About 28 but this week and last week I haven't been feeling well. But I did run 3 times a week every week this month and I'm not sure I've ever done that and I ran at least 1 mile every time. I'm pretty sure before December I had basically never run a full mile straight ever so baby steps. Maybe one day I'll hit those 100 mile numbers.
Running 64.5mi - ditched a lot of runs and shortened others...the weather this year is killing my training! It was not nearly this bad training for Shamrock last year!

I'm training with two other friends...all three of us are doing Shamrock for our second year in a row...we're all sucking with the mileage. That race has so much energy, I know we'll be fine
At least next month has to be better. Right??? Right?? I've just been going through some crap. I think it's almost over though so I hope things bounce back.
This is the first time I've actually had the data to reply to one of these posts. I've been using my Run Keeper app since training began, and I love seeing my miles add up. I have 61.5 for January. I wanted to hit 70, but the snow this week messed me up. I'm starting February with 10 tomorrow!
