This isn't meant to be snarky, but how do you find Laura dated, but not Hazel? It could be clouding my judgement that my 85 year old grandma's name is Hazel.
OLD OLD names are new. Names from the 70s and 80s are now old.
I feel like I would be better able to give advice here if I knew your last name because all three names are so different. Obviously don't post it here, but is it long and complicated, short and easy, common, etc?
I vote Hazel, but I don't have big objections to any of those choices. I do agree that Laura feels a little dated/tired these days, but I think it is ultimately a perfectly nice, classic name, and thus far preferable to something made-up, oddly spelled, etc.
brie I sent you a message with my last name, once you see it you will probably understand why I am trying to stick to simpler names.
Ahh, yes. I agree.
I revise my answer though. I think Gabriella sounds best with your LN. Even though it's long, it's easy to pronounce and seems to match the best IMO. And Brie is a fabulous NN.

As much as I love all things Italian, I am sick of the Italian naming trend. Too many little girls named Isabella, Gabriella, etc. and they ALL go by Bella.
I prefer Gabrielle with the nickname Gaby, if you want/need a nickname.
I love Laura, and I don't find it dated at all. I know tons of girls my age named Lauren, so that name screams 80's to me, but I know very few Laura's. I think it's classic and pretty.
I don't care for Hazel at all. It's more Bertha and less Rose on the little-old-lady-name scale.

I'm so bummed that your DH didn't like Charlotte! That was my top pick for DD2 but I couldn't get DH on board with it either. It's still one of my favorite name.
I'm not really a fan of any of the other names you've listed, but I like Gabriella the best out of those 3.
