Others, hm… I really like the Sons of Anarchy song. I still jam out to Chuck's theme music, but I don't know that I really consider that a theme song since I liked it before it was Chuck's song.
Ooo! Veronica Mars, complete with hand claps. The first two seasons though, not that season three crap.
You know what theme song I absolutely hate? Dexter's. Ugh.
I miss good theme songs. I used to sing almost all of the big 80s ones when I was a kid. Gimme a Break, Silver Spoons, Diffr'nt stroke, etc etc I think Big Bang Theory is the only current show I watch that has a lyrical theme song. Oh, and Family Guy.
I think Twin Peaks theme song & opening sequence fits the show perfectly: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2lkvrMa27c True Blood and the Office themes (UK and US) also have good themes for the show content.

For those of you that voted for the M*A*S*H theme song, did you know it has a title? And words? "Suicide is Painless." It's also the opening song to the movie, and it's sung. They just couldn't use the words on prime-time TV.
From those that were mentioned: Wonder Years Veronica Mars Cheers MASH Welcome Back, Kotter (love it so much)
and three that weren't mentioned that I love are the HBO shows: Sopranos Extras Treme (this ties with Welcome Back, Kotter as my favorite)
Which Extras song? When The Whistles Blows or Cat Stevens? Surely it's When The Whistle Blows.
Ha ha! I completely forgot about that - when the whistle blows. "Are you 'avin' a laugh?"
Definitely meant Cat Stevens. To be honest, I didn't even like Cat Stevens until I heard the Extras theme song and then looked up who sang it and then looked up other songs by him.
