She came to her appointment with her 20-month-old daughter. She was in a stroller, watching Beauty and the Beast on a device of some sort, and she basically let her daughter toss popcorn all over the clinic room. Granted, she did pile it up in the middle of the room for me before she left, but there was no other attempt to clean up the mess herself. The mess her daughter made.
The reasons I'm judging:
:: Letting her 20-month-old eat popcorn (even M doesn't get popcorn since I'm paranoid about choking) :: She was completely inconsiderate about the popcorn. Seriously? Your kid made a huge mess and all you do is put it in the middle of the room for someone else to clean up.
Maybe I'm just hormonal, but that was just not necessary.
As long as she's supervising the popcorn eating I'm ok with that. (My little one just had it for first time at 2). But the mess is bad bad bad. Judge away
I don't really care what other people feed their children (though I'm equally choking-paranoid and wouldn't give G popcorn). But yeah, letting her throw it on the ground is totally not ok. I would be apologizing profusely and cleaning it all up as best I could if my child made a mess.
M has loved popcorn at least since she was 2 maybe sooner so that doesn't bother me but the mess part does. I clean up or make my kid clean up any mess made before we leave anywhere.
