All electric except for one supplementary oil furnace. Last month was $600, this month was $650 (cries). House is all one level, just under 4k sf. We even paid a ton to insulate the entire house during our renovation. Luckily in the summer, the bill is rarely above $200. In the winter we keep the house between 66 and 67. So freakin' cold. And it is still so expensive.
Our gas + electric is a combined bill, so I don't know how it breaks out.
I recently did a 24 month average (I was redoing our budget), and it was $147/mo. It's much higher in the winter and lower in the summer. Our last bill was $267.07.
Our house is 1860 sf, built in 1986, vinyl double pane windows, high efficiency gas furnace. Upstate NY.
1600 sq ft plus 1000 finished basement - an energy efficient house in UP Michigan Gas: 23-109 (summer low - winter high) Heat, water heater, dryer & stove/oven Electric: 30-45 a month Water: 70 a month for water/sewer/trash for 3-4 units of water
Last year's monthly average combined was $178. We're about $100 over that so far this year (only 2 months though) so I'm hoping the spring and summer give us a little relief.
Our house is 120 years old and inefficiently insulated around windoes. It's about 3500 square feet without our unfinished basement, 4500 with the unfinished basement (I assume some heat inefficiently sneaks down there). In the winter, gas is around $350 (keep it at 60 at night and during the day if we're not home, on days I WFH it's 68, then 68 in the evenings.) Gas drops to around $30 in the warmer months.
Gas and electric is $285 for peak during winter. We're in NYS, 2-story 1400 sq ft, unfinished basement. I haven't lived in the house for summer yet, but I'm guessing it'll likely be similar if it's hot enough to keep the a/c running.
When will people start comparing usage and not $$$?!?! Electric was spendy for us - $60 because the damn sun didn't shine enough and there was snow on our PV panels. Gas was about $50 (which is ridiculously low and I'm not sure how we do it). We use gas for heating, water, and cooking. 2000sqft house, basement doesn't really need much climate control.

1400 sq single story house in the PacNW.
No gas- we have a ductless heating/cooling system. Our electric usage for Feb was 860 KWH costing $81.16. This is higher than average because of the combination of a newborn and constant snow.
Our monthly usage is typically under 500 KWH despite liberal use of the AC because of my asthma.

Townhouse condo Multi-zone heating (we only use 2 main zones (l.room/kitchen)+ a space heater for the bedroom. No Basement 1,030 sq ft Electric only- $280 the last 2 months.
NC- house was built in 1998, about 1700 sf with 2 story foyer and living room so I think it's technically a 1.75 story house (3 bedrooms and both full baths are upstairs), 2 adults in the house (and 2 cats but their electric blanket doesn't take much energy). We keep the house at 63 at night and 64-65 during the day during the winter, 75 in the summer.
This months electric: $55 This months gas (heat, fireplace and hot water heater) $140
Combined, I generally don't ever pay more than $200 max for both. In the swing months (spring and fall) I can usually get away with only paying about $100-125 for both.
