I have really bad back/shoulder acne but I was kind of expecting it since I get it if I'm not on birth control. Luckily my face is fairly decent. I would like to be able to wear tank tops to the gym now that it's warming up, I might just have to say screw it and do it anyway.
I'm glad to be feeling movement finally but I don't think this kid sleeps much. SO had his hand on my belly trying to feel last night but she'd finally settled down and I was like "shh, don't wake her up!" It's not really strong movement yet but it's been almost all day long the last few days.
My hair has gotten greasier. I used to wash my hair 3x/week, but now I'm back to every day (or at least I should be; I still skip some days but my hair doesn't look so good).
I've given up on ladyscaping. I bought myself a wax. Weirdly, my eyebrows and legs have slowed down in hair growth but my nethers and my armpits have ramped up. I never used to grow hair under my pits.

Pregnancy insomnia! I didn't get it until well into the 3rd trimester with DD, but it started around 18 weeks this time. Boo! Hiss! Boo!
I have been trying to plan my days now around an afternoon nap. That helps, but it would still be nice to get a long, uninterrupted stretch of sleep at night.
Destination Maternity has a spa. Their waxers know how to deal with pregnant women. It costs 3x as much as my hole-in-the-wall neighborhood waxing place, but after my last experience there in which the woman didn't know what to do if I couldn't lie flat on my back, I realized the DM spa is worth every penny.

Unfortunately, there isn't one in California But now I am off to google a maternity spa in my area. I live in LA - there's got to be one, right?

Didn't have any annoyances lately till right now
-Got home from work last night and my calves were so swollen. I'm only 16 weeks, can it really start this early?
-My nausea has gotten worse in the second tri, like a lot worse. Everything makes me gag and dry heave. Working in NYC is probably the worst thing ever for it too. I have to breathe through a scarf while walking to not feel like I'm going to puke on everyone.
