It's That Time of the Week Again!

I'm hoping to take lots of naps this weekend.

Anyone celebrating St. Patricks Day? I don't... I think it's strange.

I don't celebrate it either. Mostly because my dad refuses to acknowledge St. Patrick's Day and this has been going on since he was little. He won't celebrate or acknowledge it until a big deal is made for the patron saints of Poland.

I'm signing the lease and giving him my deposit tomorrow.

We celebrate it, but my family is the family who wears orange as well as the green. Dad mixes in old IRA songs with the Gallway and Chieftans too. It's usually fun in our house.

Lol sparksfly. That's sort of along the lines of what I'm confused about when it comes to St Patricks Day.

I *think* it ends up being a big deal because it's a feast day that falls in the middle of lent, generally. So... You know... Any excuse to party when partying it's frowned upon!

It is so much fun partiallysunny, we don't do it at my house now because stbx is very "meh" on it all. But Dad made it really fun, he would wear orange and it would confuse the hell out of everyone. No one around us really knew what wearing orange symbolized. His Mom was Irish and proud of it, so she drilled a bit of it into him.

We celebrate it. It's on a Monday this year, so we're thinking of going out tomorrow or Sunday to acknowledge the day instead. Sorry you think we're strange! But you thought that anyway before learning about this, so it's all good.

We don't have much else planned for the weekend. We'll see how things go. Maybe we can start trip planning. That would be fun.

I usually make sure I wear something green on st. Patrick's day, but that's about as far as my celebration goes.

I'm looking forward to a weekend of relatively nice weather. DS will be with his dad, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do... I kind of want to go to Portland for the day though... or Seattle... I haven't decided yet.

Woohoo Friday! I'm so glad it's almost the weekend.

I celebrate St. Patrick's Day by wearing green and going to a chill bar where I can have a Guinness or two. I'm not religious at all, I think for me it's more about remembering that part of my heritage at least once a year.

I just called and made an appt for a massage tonight, the H can hardly touch my shoulders without me wanting to turn around and punch him they hurt so bad.

I do... But it scares me at the same time... It seems so much more intimate, less casual... I'm trying really hard to just roll with everything and not overthink. I want to just enjoy it, but something seems "off" and I can't decide if that something is me imagining things because of my past or not.

Its just strange... When I'm with him I feel fine, totally comfortable no matter what we're doing. It's later after I've gone home that I start thinking there's something off. That's why I wonder if this is just me being weird. But maybe this is just a sign that I'm not ready for this relationship thing.

If you're not ready, that's okay too. How he handles you saying things like that will tell you if there's something about him you're picking up or if it's leftovers from stbx. If you want to do it, do it, but if you want to wait, wait.
