I probably wouldn't tell anyone in real life, but I'm kicking myself hard for leaving my previous job
Sorry . Did you leave for another job or to SAH? Change is hard, I hope it gets better
another job. I hate my new job. I thought I just need time, but it has been 6 months now.... It sucks I'll start seriously applying elsewhere when I'm on maternity leave
I had a date with a 26 year old. I'm almost 5 years older than him but omg y'all, he's pretty. I'm going to see him again next. He seems to have his shit together and seems more mature than the other 30 something's I've talked to.
After someone posted about it on here, I put cream cheese in my steel cut oats this morning. So delicious! I added splenda and it tasted like oatmeal cheesecake mmmm I got addicted to helping my in laws with a puzzle last night and now I want to buy one to do at my house. I am officially a 60 year old
I worked on a puzzle when I was pregnant with DS2. It was what I did in labor and it worked out great until my freaking MIL came over and hovered over me wanting to help.
My confession: There is this lady who is so freaking annoying at work. She has this super whiny singsongy voice that makes me read every IM and email in her voice. I then get more annoyed. She sucks.
I have a lot of dental work that I need done...but I refuse to make appointments for them 1) because I have extreme dentist anxiety and 2) there's always some kind of excuse...I'm either pregnant (when I had a wisdom tooth removed) or nursing, or something...and I can't get the good stuff to knock me out. If I'm getting all that done, I want to be knocked OUT and then give me the good drugs.
Also, random confession- I was on an ambien high last night and decided to straighten my hair at 11 at night
ETA: to go along with the dentist thing- I keep having issues with my teeth and it's inevitable that one of those issues is going to start causing me extreme pain. I know then it will be worse to go in and have those issues fixed, but that doesn't deter me. I'm an idiot, I know. But a very scared, anxious idiot.
not to mention the COST! Dental insurance is usually pretty crap in terms of covering actual dental work.
my H had to have a crown done and he paid $600 out of pocket. It's hurting him again now and the dentist is saying he may need a root canal. And he needs another root canal on the other side which he has been putting off.
Parallel parking is a talent of mine. I lived on a street that was a one way and you could only park on one side of the street (where the curb is on the drivers side, not the passenger side.)
We were out drinking one night and I was not the driver, however the girl who was driving could not parallel park her car. So, I ended up doing it for her a few sheets to the wind!

My ob made a few comments yesterday that had me cracking up even though some would think it's inappropriate. He makes some inappropriate jokes, but I feel comfortable with it. I don't think he jokes like this with all his patients.
"Now its time for walking and sex to get things going. Go for a walk with your husband; have sex with whoever you like."
" we don't do cord blood donations because they require some random person to be in the room as you deliver. Strange guys are not allowed between your legs while you're like that, you're mine! "

Finally a more flammable confession happens around here. Probably not the best drunken decision.
Before I got confident parking dh did this for me a few times while I was the designated driver.
I'm entering grades that are due today for report cards. Every time I refresh, I watch for certain students. There are a few that I get semi-happy about not passing my class. Now, I want all my kids to pass. But if you are a douche who goofs off and doesn't do homework, you deserve to have your spring break ruined with a big fat F in my class

I hate when people shuffle/drag their feet when they walk. There is a younger woman sitting in the temp cube near me and she walks to the printer constantly and drags her feet when she walks. It's so distracting! PICK UP YOUR FEET.
I still don't understand 4 way stops. If I get there first, I'm good. If I show up and all 4 of us are there, I have no clue who goes when.
Technically, people going straight have the right of way. Left turns are last. I think the general rule is to give the right of way to the person on your right. However, if this happens to me, I give people about 2 seconds. If no one goes, I am going.
I just kindof go by who was there first, second, third. If two people happen to get there at the exact same time, we just look at each other and one will go. Those straight/turning rules are way too complicated, lol

Driver's Ed taught me that people turning right have the right of way! LOL!

DH just called me from work to tell me that he has to work tomorrow. Ugh...he has no control over it and I know that, but I can't help but be frustrated. We have not seen my parents since Christmas and they are driving up tomorrow for a visit. We had various plans that all need to be re-worked now and I'm annoyed. I am aware that I am being a brat, I wish I were a nicer person who could just let things like this roll off my back, but I am a planner and I hate last minute changes.
When I am at a four way stop I usually just wait probably too long. I get paranoid!
When I feel like it seems a car from each direction has gone I make my move
People behind me must get very annoyed. I also get beeped at frequently when I am merging onto the highway for taking too long. Excuse me for wanting to take a look at the cars flying past me at 80mph before just merging in. Sometimes there isn't an entrance lane or anything, just a short ramp. Very stressful.

Mine taught FIFO and that if two arrive at the exact time, the driver on the left has the right of way. I think. It was 20 years ago, after all!
If I'm approaching a busy 4-way that's backed up, I usually just watch the pattern as I'm approaching first in line on my side. There's usually a you, now you, now you, now go pattern going on.
In most places, four-way stop right of way is whoever got there first (even if it's just by a second or two). If cars got there at precisely the same time, you yield to the person on the right.

This. All the other answers stated above are incorrect.
DH and I are both off work today and Madison is at daycare. We've both worked out and then we are going to have the sex. Child free days are awesome.

I have one...
I had my annual lady doctor yesterday morning, so I "worked from home" and then met with a work group for lunch at noon.
I did no work. I sat and drank coffee before my appointment, then after came home and ran 4.5 miles outside, showered, then went to the lunch.
I feel guilty because I just got a raise, but I get my work done on time and then some, so whatevs. I totally abused the work from home privilege though.
