If you guys are bored and feel like helping me shop, do you want to take a look at my registry and let me know if there's anything obvious that's missing and that I'll need? The lists you guys provided a couple of weeks ago were SUPER helpful, so I tried to base most of this on that. I'm just sooo tired of working on it
ETA: I know a couple of you advised against Target, but I ended up going with them because it's the only store that people consistently have in their areas.
I'm not sure what the waterproof changing pad liners are for, most changing pads (that I know of) are waterproof on their own? A couple of people told me to have an extra layer of protection on there just in case, and someone also recommended having waterproof "lap pads" for changing in public. I figured these could suffice.
You don't need 6-12 month or 12 month swaddle blankets yet. You won't use them for at least 4-14 months I imagine...
If you plan on breastfeeding, check out the Kiinde feeding system (www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10100162406273328&set=vb.131360740244552&type=3&theater) that is about to come out in the next few months. It looks amazing. THAT SAID... I would wait on buying or putting any of the breastfeeding stuff on your registry only because breastfeeding can be a total shit show and you generally won't need to pump or bottle feed in the first month and will have time to purchase/insurance claim them after the baby arrives. But it's totally a ymmv thing. I just know a lot of women who had all the stuff needed for breastfeeding ready... and then couldn't bf for whatever reason and then had to deal with all the stuff afterwards. :/
Instead of the Avent pacifiers, I'd highly suggest a WubbaNub. And also look around on craigslist for people just giving them away, so you can have a stash of pacifiers (that you sterilize) to try out. Not all babies like the same pacifier and some (like my kid) hated them in general. This is an awesome suggestion, thanks! Should I also look into adding a pacifier sterilizer to the list for this purpose?
I see you have BGs on your registry. At 20 dollars a pop they're really overpriced at Target, esp. since CottonBabies' seconds sale should be coming up soon (I think). And the sizes you have picked out won't generally fit most babies until about 4-6 weeks old. You will also need more than 12 cloth diapers, and just making sure you know, the 4.0s are pocket/stuff diapers and not the aio attached ones like the freetimes. One of my friends explicitly told me not to bother with anything but BumGenius, but I'm not sure if she tried all of the other brands or just a handful. I will look into CottonBabies.
The boppy infant carseat head stuff will invalidate your carseat in a crash. Most third party additions to carseats void the warranty. I was planning to use this with the Rock N Play (a friend told me the backs of those can be really hard for infants), not the carseat - but thanks for the heads up!
If you are cloth diapering, you won't really need that Diaper Kelor. A wet/dry bag is pretty much all you need. I would avoid Planetwise, they're pretty shitty. I love our KangaCare so much more: www.kanga-care.com/Kanga-Care-Wet-Bag_p_115.html
We have two big wet bags and it works out well since we tend to do diaper laundry twice a week now. One Kanga Care and one Planetwise. Both my husband and I dislike Planetwise. I can't remember - are your kids in daycare? Will we need extra wet bags to take / leave at daycare?
Also, this is for the future, but if you are CDing, you might want to get a diaper sprayer when your baby starts solids. If you end up using formula, you generally need to spray that poop out too. It's a nice thing to have.
It's not necessary, since we rarely use our stroller these days, but I noticed you didn't register for a stroller. I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. We have a stroller on there - it's the Graco SnugRide, matched to the carseat.
If you have any other questions, Lucie's List has a pretty great registry pdf file you can get. (www.lucieslist.com/1-car-seats-and-rtollers/?submit=Get+Started - I forget where the pdf is, but it's somewhere on the site, or if you register. I forget.)
Oh, and I note this now, I wish someone had told me when I was pregnant. But the ergo is not the end all be all of baby carrying. I wish I had known cause I'd have bought a tula or some form of ring sling early on. A lot of moms I know now from my BMB, are exploring other babywearing options now when their kids are about 1.5 years old, cause the Ergo is just not cutting it anymore. Anyway, just mentioning. XD All the sling options just look incredibly complicated to put on, and I'm not super coordinated as it is. The Ergo seemed like the most comfortable option for both me and baby.
Comments on most of the stuff is in the quote above. Thanks for the Graco heads up! I checked out their website (http://www.gracobaby.com/safetyandrecall/pages/safetyandrecallarticle.aspx?recallid=41&) and it looks like the SnugRide isn't one of the brands they're recalling ... ? But anyway, I imagine if they're recalling it, by the time we go to buy it, it won't be affected by the recall. So we should be safe (hopefully). But I'll be sure to check dates before we use it
CottonBabies is the company that owns Bumgenius. Mostly, I just noted this cause Target looks pretty expensive, esp. if you deal hunt, CottonBabies has sales on BGs every so often, like buy 5 get 1 free, or the second sales where things are up to 40% off I think?
Do you go directly through their website for this? Or another vendor / website?
Tottini in SLU also carries them in store, but I think they tend to be overpriced there too. Depending on when you're due, and you have time to shop around, you can generally find Freetimes for about 15 dollars new I think.
Would you recommend the Freetimes above the 4.0? Or is it more of a personal preference thing?

It's a preference thing. We only use snaps and freetimes for BGs in this house.
Snaps because my the hook/loop (Velcro) ones would dig into his belly in an unpleasant way and he learned how to take off his own diaper very quickly with Velcro. Even in disposables, he just tears them off and runs around naked. It's. Awesome.
Freetimes because I hate stuffing diapers. XD Some people hate freetimes though, cause it's harder to spray down, but I haven't really noticed a difference. (We own a handful of 4.0s.)
It's mostly personal preference. I've noticed 4.0s run very slightly smaller than Freetimes, not significantly so, but enough to notice over time.
Awesome, thanks! I guess we'll just buy a bunch of different diapers and see what works best for her. (OMG it still feels super weird to say "her" and "she" and know that that's real.)
toratoratori I have a registry at kellyscloset.com for diapers. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, I assume we'll end up with mostly BG but I also put some other brands on there so I can see what works well for us/baby's body type.
I don't think you need the UV Pacifier sanitizer. If you register for a bottle warmer, and/or medela sanitizing bags you can use those to sanitize instead and they're more multi purpose. What about a bottle brush, dish rack, dishwasher basket for bottle accessories? The boon grass rack is good and I like the OXO. I'd wait on the high chair stuff and the feeding stuff.
What about a pack n play, blankets, washcloths, burp cloths, stroller?
