Almost immediately with both pregnancies. However, I've gained less with this pregnancy so far. I was up 10lbs at 12w with DS1 and I'm up about 8lbs now at 16w. My stomach has popped faster and is larger though. Yay second pregnancies!
I'm +2 lbs now at 16w. I think I started gaining at 16w last time, but I started out a couple of pounds heavier so my weight is probably about equal. I was +23 at 36w when I delivered my son.
i'm still below my pre-pregnancy weight. i lost in the first tri, about 15 pounds, then started gaining around 15 weeks maybe, then kept going up and down for a few weeks. i am 24 weeks and still 4 pounds below where i started but the last few weeks have gained about 2 per week, so i think that gap will close very shortly.
I gained nothing for the first 12 weeks, and then I was up 5 lbs at 16w. I'm up at least another couple lbs since then and am trying to aim for a pound a week from here on out (I was underweight pre pg, and always struggled to gain weight.)
The weight gain has slowed down in the last 2 weeks. I think it is because my morning sickness was so bad that all I ate was bad carbs. If I didn't have food in my mouth I felt nauseous. Going to bed every night at 8 probably wasn't helping either. I'm now eating the same volume but much healthier foods and I've been more active.

Hard to tell, it went up and down quite a bit with bloat in the beginning. With both pregnancies, I've been up 4-5 pounds by the end of the first trimester so weight gain started very early. I've never gone below my pre-pregnancy weight after a BFP.
I had just lost about ten pounds before my bfp. Didn't start gaining until about week 20 or so, but have packed it on the past two months (I'm 28 weeks) and am now up about twenty pounds total It is definitely all in my belly, though - my face and the rest of my body have actually thinned out a bit.
I'm similar to chickadee77. I didn't start gaining until somewhere around the 20w mark and now it's coming fast and furious. At my last appointment 10 days ago I was up 12 lbs. total. It's all in my belly - a coworker keeps mentioning that my face has thinned out. My body hasn't changed at all like I thought it would. When I gain weight it's usually very noticeable in my face, and being short/short waisted, I thought I'd be big immediately. I have a feeling third tri will make up for a relatively easy first and second tri.
I'm so glad to have read this! I wish this thread was around four years ago when I was pregnant with my first. With that pregnancy I had gained about 8 pounds in the first trimester and somewhere around 20 pounds by 22 weeks. This time I started heavier than with my first and flip flop between having lost a pound to having gained a pound. I've started to feel less nauseous this past week so I figure that will end and I'll start gaining more.
