My induction took 3 days. I ate the morning on the way in (I had been there the day before too for cervadil) and they let me have breakfast the morning of the second day too. The third day I had some Jello, which I later vomited on DH.

I was induced with DD2. Because I was attempting a VBAC, I was advised not to eat prior to the induction since my chances of needing a c-section were fairly high. I got to the hospital at 6 am so I wasn't really in the mood for a meal before then anyway. My induction went really quick though (started pitocin at 8 am and delivered Madison at 3:30) so hunger wasn't an issue.
I had a high protein power bar on the way in for my induction. I threw up the nastiest neon green vomit I've ever seen. I also pooped multiple times. I'm still glad that I ate something, but also glad that I didn't over do it.

i had to fast before my induction- but i was already in the hospital b/c of kidney stones... so couldn't eat after midnight- likely b/c they were concerned it would end up in a c/s (it didn't... had him vag, but it took all day/night and then some).
by the time i was pushing- it was 18 hours after i got the pitocin... i was exhausted and passing out between contrax... i wasn't concerned about pooping or anything- just getting him out.
