Oh no. Poor little guy. Hopefully he is feeling better and you're both getting some rest.
Eta: just saw your update. I'm glad he was keeping down sips of water. If the fever won't go down or if he starts throwing up again I would bring him in.
Feel better, L. It's so hard when they are sick. ((hugs))
Poor L. Apparently I'm the opposite of an alarmist, but what you were describing last night would have prompted me to bring Owen in.
I hope his fever comes down and that he can hold some fluids in. When Owen had the pukes really badly a few people here suggested doing just a Tbsp of fluids every 15 minutes, as long as the previous one stayed down.
I hate the fevers. Lillian breathes very rapidly when she has a high fever (she's only gone to a little over 103). Just remember that when they first wake up they usually have the highest fever. I would def be taking him in once the pedi opened. Hope he feels better soon!
I'm sorry you are going through this. 104 is a scary fever I think, I don't think you were overreacting. I think the walk in clinic sounds like a good idea!
Awwww sounds like the pedi confirmed you are doing everything you possibly can for him. High temps are so scary. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon!
