I'm refueling after a hard workout with protein powder mixed with coconut milk and yummy potato chips, I'm famished! I did a Spin class for 30 minutes, 45 min boot camp class, and 2.25 mile outdoor run. I'm sssoooo happy to be running outside in good weather!
This is actually the opposite of a confession but I'm proud of myself - I said no to lunch (fish&chips with unlimited beer) at a local brewery tomorrow because I'm actually finally losing weight and I don't want to self-sabotage.

I just went for a 3 mile run. I was going to take it easy - I mile slow, one mile hard at x pace, on mile slow. Well, my first mile was faster than my goal for the second mile. Then I maintained that pace for the entire three miles.
I ran a corporate 5k tonight & actually got a PR. This is not an AW, because I'm still not great at pacing them, and I should be faster. But I'm not. Because I hate them. HATE. I do no 5k specific speed work, and I have no real desire to be better at them. That's a confession, I guess. I know they will make me stronger, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, we also had 22 mph winds. Total bullshit. I shamelessly drafted any chance I had. Lol Watch says 21:52. My time from the fall was 22:38, so not a bad improvement.

I'm on spring break and thought I'd get in all sorts of workouts this week. Instead I'm sick and have no energy to exercise. I ran some errands this morning and it wiped me out. I'm just glad that that monster thread on ML happened this week while I have time to keep up with it!
I bought one bag of starburst jellybeans, and that is all in terms of easter candy this year. I am so so sad that I finished it off tonight and won't have any more! On the bright side, I didn't feel like running at all yesterday and ended up having a great 6 mile treadmill run, and ran another good 5 miles outside tonight. I'll call it a win.

I did my usual 22 mile group ride tonight and hung with the A group. Yeah! I realized I hadn't eaten since lunch. No wonder I was hungry the last few miles of the ride!
Dinner was Mellow Mushroom--a 'Lil Caesar salad and a small pizza w/sundried tomatos and extra cheese. I ate every bit of it except a few bits of crust. MM's small pizzas are personal size not a "real" small pizza.

So technically it's morning but I thought I'd outsmart the baby and get up before him and run. Nope that stinker was up at 4, right when my alarm went off! Guess a run isn't in the cards today.

Hahaha, I love 5ks because there is always a redemption race just around the corner. I hate all the pressure of the marathon and that ONE day having to be perfect.
