No never puked after a workout but have really felt like crap after many. I do remember in high school a couple of people puking after the first day of basketball practice. I bet some people are just more prone to it.
Yes, after a 14 mile run. Although I think it was technically because I tried fueling with honey stinger chomps (or whatever they are called) for the first time. Needless to say, they did NOT sit well with my stomach.
I've never been sick before/since even when I run longer/harder. Lesson learned about fueling for me!
Not from exertion, but from eating too much too close to running. I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to have some Ben & Jerry's before heading out for a run!
Not from exerting myself. I did dry heave after my 12 mile run 2 weekends ago, it was way warmer than i was used to and I wasn't properly hydrated.
I also dry heaved during a 5 mile evening race race last summer. I think that had less to do with pushing myself, and more to do with the Cheddar bay biscuits I had an hour and a half beforehand. Rookie mistake.
