Sooooooooo I'm having second thoughts about that AS necklace. When I picture it in my head with the dress, I think it may be too much.
I also just remembered that my FSIL is making fascinators for all of the ladies in the wedding party to wear, so I'll be wearing that as well, but I have no idea what it will look like. The only thing she said about them was that they will be non-tacky, lol.
non-tacky is an opinion. I am scared for you! LOL! I do think that necklace is too much for the dress. I love the dress as is and I think any statement necklaces will take attention away from the dress. I would try to keep it simple. Sorry no item suggestions on that though.

Ha thanks. Fortunately for me, I trust her opinion a lot! We actually have similar taste in a lot of things, so I do believe her when she says it won't be tacky...I just found it funny that she needed to use that disclaimer.
Anyway, back to the drawing board for accessorizing!

I love fascinators, but after Beatrice and the Royal Wedding I can see exactly why the disclaimer is needed. You may want to look at some real Derby fashion. Kentuckians know how to seriously rock fascinators and hats. I'll see if I can dig up some good sites/inspiration pics. I wish it wasn't over this year because I'd get some pics from the higher end places for styling ideas.
I wonder if simpler earrings, a bracelet, or cocktail ring wouldn't be better. If I get to the Antho Accessory store, I can see what they'd say. I seriously love that store not the big one) for styling inspiration. They would have great input since the dress is their's. You know how I am with accessories and hunting the unique. We were in that tiny store for over an hour.
I was actually considering going back to bhldn to see what they have. They have a.TON of stuff in store that isn't online, and the ladies there are awesome.

The accessory store in Nashville is the same way. It's tiny, but packed with only Anthro accessories and they only put out 1 item of each variation in style. It's awesome, but shopping without help for something specific would be a pain. The sale stuff is also in various locations, but the place rocks for shoes, bags, and jewelry. That store and hibachi pancakes = heaven!
