E just started sticking his tongue out. It is so freaking cute and funny. I kept sticking my tongue out at him last night and he'd stick it back out at me. But, he doesn't really get it, so his tongue is all weird and he does it different every time. It was cracking me up.
He's been sleeping in his own room for over a week! Yay! He still is waking up around 1 and 5 every day, and then sleeping until 7. He cries for a little while sometimes when I put him down, but other times he just goes right down. It's been pretty easy (knocks on wood).
He's also been trying to wave when I drop him off at day care, but he can't quite figure it out. And he's *this close* to crawling, but thankfully can only scoot a few feet here and there. He is getting up on his hands and knees and bouncing though, and goes from sitting to tummy and back, and can pull himself up to his knees on things, so it's coming. And we are not baby proofed!
Sorry, no more pics. You'll have to check out FB if you want to see what a cutie he was for Easter w/ his hat.
this is the only photo i have on my phone (i just dumped/backed it up a few days ago).
bjl was on the swings..but i got interruped cause that lady on the left was pissed at me bc her husband was giving tigger attention. (??) he shrugged and said sorry to me, and stopped petting tigger.
boy is soooooo close to crawling. it's annoying, lol. i keep thinking he's going to do it, so instead i have several 15 minute videos on my phone of him just face planting over and over..
my nephew is in town, and bjl is having such a good time playing with him, it's adorable.
My little guy is getting over being sick, we're pretty sure he had roseola. Sleep has been pretty good, although I accidentally let him come into bed with us at 2:00 am last night, instead of the usual 5 or 6. I was really tired and didn't register the time when he woke up (we have been letting him cry unless it's actually morning). He's still very busy and pulling up on everything, I really need to get the anti-tip stuff installed on our book cases and dressers before he starts climbing them.
No picture today but both girls are doing great. J had her 4 month apt yesterday and she is in the 90% for height and 50-75% for weight. She is long like her sister was Thankfully her shots didn't seem to bother her once they were done. I am also failing at getting her to sleep all night in the pack n play. Its hard to do naps since H is home and i have him locked in the bedroom so she can't nap in the pnp. I need to get better about it at night instead of just bringing her right into bed. I kind of love the snuggles though
Baby stretch is a ton of fun at this age! He is super happy, smiles and laughs at just about everything. He's got a tooth now! And is balancing on all fours with some help from us. He doesn't bring his knees up on his own, but if we help him he can balance then rocks back and forth before his knees slide out or he face plants. He's super chatty, and eating slightly larger quantities of solid food, typically yummier things like yogurt and applesauce, but also loves bread and gnawing on super firm, cold pieces of melon. He also LOVED a piece of ravioli with tomato sauce last night.
He is still on the small side, at a doctor's appointment a couple weeks ago he was only 13lbs 12oz.
Not sleeping particularly well. When we went out of town the first week in April the sleep patterns got thrown off, then he came back and was sick so sleep routine wasn't normal. Now we're still a little thrown off. He wakes at 12-ish (DH feeds him then since he's generally still awake himself) then usually 3 and 6. Exhausting. We generally co-sleep from 3 to 6am. DH and I take turns where one night I do all feeds and the next night he does all of them. So we're both mutually exhausted.

It's no longer HDBD, but I just got this (very) belated birthday present from my husband today and was so excited that it fit me AND Baby Rogo that I had to show it off. Also, I wanted to troll the Hawks fans. But that's secondary. Really
toratoratori you are adorable. That jersey...not so much
I'll take a pic in my hawks jersey tomorrow to restore balance in the universe!
I am getting nervous. Only 2 months! How did this happen? And why do I have this need to snuggle all the babies!? And what is this kid doing in there? It looks like a writhing ball of snakes not a baby...The other day when I was reading out loud to my students it was going crazy and my students were in shock.
