I thought last night's episode was pretty good. I was not expecting April to be pregnant so I'll be interested to see how that story line plays out. I am liking the way they are setting things up for Cristina's departure for bigger/better things rather than something bad happening to her. I got excited to see Burke in next week's previews!
Can we discuss that Frankie died? I knew at least one of them (or the bubble kid) would be die for the last few weeks, but I was hoping they would not.
I like that Cristina is going to leave to be with Burke. Even though Isiah Washington is an ass in real life, Cristina and Burke belong together. I'm just sad that she's leaving the show - I love her character.
I can't believe Debbie Allen told Richard, and Richard told Christina. That seemed truly unbelievable.
I absolutely can believe it. She says something in the heat of an argument that she doesn't mean to, but thinks he'll keep it confidential because it's between the two of them. He's loyal to Christina and wants her to know that she deserved it and earned it, so he starts telling other people (he didn't technically tell her, Owen did).
I can't believe no one else realized she couldn't win.

I think she'll leave for a hospital where she can potentially win the Avery one day, and that Burke will give her that opportunity and a cushy position at his hospital. I'd rather not see her be with Burke though. I hate him, the character. I'd like to see them stay colleagues.
I'm interested to see what this means for the other surgeons once word gets out though. Surely they have to realize that it's bad for the hospital for the doctors to be unable to win the HA Award. Either the good doctors will leave to potentially earn it elsewhere, or they'll stay, but won't be innovative and achieve awesome things because the prize is gone. It doesn't make sense.

Exactly. Debbie Allen (gosh, I cannot remember her character's name) now has screwed both the hospital and the foundation.
But let's be honest, the whole show is unbelievable I promised myself I would stop watching once a character slept with more than 3 other people on the show... Which was 7 seasons ago?!?
Man this show has gotten so boring! The only storyline I care about is Christina's and it is watered down by all the other crap. Don't care about Karev, hate Aizone, miss the old Callie (and Mark!), who the hell is Amy (and who cares?!?). I used to like Avery and April but she goes nuts every once in a while and I think she's being awfully "holier than thou" about the kids thing. This is what happens when you get married impulsively. You think they'd have learned from Christina and Owen. I missed what he said to her in the OR but it seemed really stupid to take marriage advice from Owen.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out with Burke. They were setting it up to seem like a romance, but I actually think he's going to woo her to a better job. He said "I want you" and "all you have to do is say yes" which could easily be to a job offer.

Yea I think she's just leaving for the job, stupid lame editing. No romance there. Wonder how they'll end her relationship with Owen?

Yes, I know that it's a tv show and that it's not supposed to be totally real, but come on, please give us situations that resemble reality a little bit. I get so annoyed by these surgeons that suddenly are capable of conducting an entire research project by themselves or that every patient that is admitted into the hospital is seen by a surgeon, no matter what his/her condition is...

Wasn't she Amelia on Private Practice and not Amy? Or did I miss something?
I'm sad to see Christina go and will miss what she brought to the show. I don't think Karev will go too far from the hospital and we'll still see him often.

Amy is a common nickname for Amelia. I'm pretty sure Derek called her Amelia a couple times during this episode.

Derek's the only one allowed to call her Amy. On Private Practice when Addison called her Amy she said her name's Amelia. (I just went through 3 months of watching all of the Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice shows from the beginning for the first time earlier this year so it's on my mind.)

I love that Burke is giving Cristina his hospital in Zurich, she deserves it after he left her at the alter. I'm glad she's leaving Seattle Grace to move on to something bigger & better, all of the other characters just get killed off when they leave.
I love April & Jackson together. It was awesome that April put Weber in his place. And so sweet when Jackson went to the chapel to sit with April & said they'll all go to church every Sunday as a family.
Any guesses on which intern is out? I bet it'll be Bailey's husband because he's hardly on the show and it could create a new drama story line, though I don't think it would be all that interesting.

I'd say Bailey's husband or some intern we never see. (There are others that don't have major roles in the show right?)

Two of the regular intern actors are not returning to the show next season.

Spoilers!
Interesting! I figured it was Bailey's H. It will be way more interesting if it is one of the 4 main ones. I'm betting on Leah or Karev's lame GF. She pouts way too much!
yeah, I'm curious how he Bailey storyline goes. Crazy!
So happy for Christina! I liked how that went down. I just can't wait to see her finally dump Owen on his ass. Man, I hate how he's treated her!
What do you guys think about Amy joining the cast? I've never liked her. She seems so annoying, but honestly most characters on Grey's annoyed me at first.

I only said regular to help her rule out random interns we've never seen, not to pinpoint it to the new original four interns.

I decided to look up a spoiler of whose contract hasn't been renewed yet with concern to the interns. Interesting.
I never liked Amy, either. I was disappointed when she became a regular on Private Practice. The only thing I can hope for is that her fiance will be on the show, too. I liked him on PP.
Two more year! Ugh....I thought next season would be the last. I have watched this show from the beginning but it keeps getting worse and worse. I thought I could make it through one more season, but I don't think I have two more in me.
