I took one of the cats to the vet this morning. She's fine, and they were able to do her vaccinations. But, dude. It is always embarrassing when we take her there. They call her Angry Cat, and she has a red sticker in her file! lol I feel like "that parent" at the school.

(hangs head in shame)
I can empathize. My old cat, Angie, had a sticker on the front of her chart with what looked like an open alligator mouth. :-\ But it is funny.

She's not like that at home, only at the vet's. I have told them that, but I don't think they believe me.
She's sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. Remember yesterday I said she was asking about bear...? Well, she took what I said and told stbx the exact opposite.
She ran to stbx and told him that he's unemployed (nope, has a job and a business), that he dresses like a slob (the pic she saw he's in church clothes), that he has a bunch of kids (he has 3, has primary custody of them and he's 34 years old... so?) and that he's "ghetto" (actually, he's country).
So, stbx called me freaking out last night thinking I'm going to expose DS to some unemployed gangbanger with a ton of kids.
And then my sister kept texting me a bunch of crap... my divorce is all my fault, if I was a better wife stbx would have treated me better, I should have stayed until DS is an adult, and I abandoned my kid when I got an apartment (never mind that the custody agreement is 50/50). And she admitted to grilling my kid for information... what does mommy do with you, where do you go, have you met mommy's friend, etc. W T M F.
Then she called mom at work and told mom that she needs to talk to me because I'm being a bitch. So, then my mom calls me... she apparently had no idea what my sister was up to. Didn't know she was talking to stbx or anything. Mom was at work, so she couldn't talk long, but I warned her that it was bad. Really bad. I forwarded her screen shots of the conversations that were going on and told her to get ready for WWIII. I'm calling her this afternoon.

I believe you! Once at a vet's office I had to go get her out of the cage in the back because all the vet techs were too scared of her. I reached in with her growling the whole time and they were all standing around nervous. She didn't hiss, bite, swat, or anything. Instead she just clung to me for dear life. They were all shocked how sweet she was with me. I miss her.
I know Muddled. I got to the coffee shop and I was like give me the biggest americano you have and add two espresso shots. She said that would be 5 and I said, better stick with 4. Could have been wilder.

You rebel, dl!
I was up until 11:45 last night working on paperwork for this job fair today and didn't even finish. I'm printing the last sheet as we speak. Then to make a million copies. I'm jealous of your coffee, doglove.
Chirp, I would be insanely pissed if one of my siblings did that to me! Realistically though, could it be an attention thing? Is she creating drama because she craves the spotlight?

Wuss. lol.
Do you not get the overcaffienated feeling? I get the shakes and feel totally icky after 2.

Yes I do, but when I am really tired and dragging I don't. Like it hasn't even affected me this morning.
ETA - But I also drank it over 2 hours. If I drink it faster, usually I will.

you're a good breakfast eater, too, aren't you? I usually have mine on an empty stomach.
Today I put a spoonful of hot chocolate mix into my mug!
That sounds tasty. And yes, I never miss breakfast. I usually can't drink coffee on an empty stomach, although lately - that has kind of gone out the window.

If you have any size 8 pairs you can send them to me!
Chirp. Burn it to the ground!
River is having an IBD flare and I feel so sad for him. He makes the most pathetic sounds all the time. I feel extra bad because his birthday is today!!!!
I am gearing up to start my eating/jogging plan again. I was going through photos from even back in sept/october, when I was paranoid about losing the very slight amount of weight I put on from my lowest weight - the weight where I had been barely eating anything in order to lose those last 5 pounds. I looked great at that slightly higher weight! A little bit overweight by BMI standards but my body liked being there, and I could eat like a human. So that's my aim.
Next step is to book a new counselor - I got a recommendation from my old one (she retired) who specializes in eating disorders. That will help. Then start walking for a bit before c25k training.
Also - I had a dream about trying to find the AE jeggings. Only they were too small and I couldn't fit in any of them. And then I went to another clothing store and everything was too expensive. I went to another store and they had almost zero women's clothing. WTF?
The foot wars are cracking me up. For the record... I'm a size 8.5 or 9. Shoes are freaking impossible to find. My size is always sold out.
I talked to my mom and stbx at lunch and got things settled.
My sister is not allowed to contact me unless she apologizes to me and stbx and proves that she will no longer meddle in our business. Unless there's an emergency with DS of course.
My sister and stbx are not to contact each other unless it is related to DS. There's no reason for them to be talking.
No one is allowed to discuss divorce related topics with my sister.
