Two big races back-to-back. That's a tremendous accomplishment!
Damn firewall is blocking the pictures. I'll have to revisit this later for the full experience. The recap is great though, and I'm glad you had such a wonderful experience with both!
Yay! Vtcupcake recaps are the BEST! You did amazing. I seriously can't imagine doing a half a week after Blue Ridge, let alone a day! Heck, I still can't wrap my head around running Blue Ridge at all.

I did not truly understand the crazy awesomeness that is the Blue Ridge Half (and running up Mill Mountain) until I was there and drove up it in a car (because, uh, no WAY I could run up that thing).
You are seriously amazing, I'm so glad everything worked out so wonderfully!
amazing recap, and so inspirational. I'm embarking on the halfs later on this year, and would love someday to be a Half Fanatic your race finish photo is awesome. thanks for sharing your journey and taking the time to get it down in writing- you rock!!!
So great! I am really impressed. I have twice done a half and then a 10k a week later, and thought I was going to die during the 10k. It is so awesome that you did two halfs, and did so well!

You are so awesome and inspirational. Love your recaps. Pics were fantastic. You will be in my head, no doubt, during my next half. (not in a creepy stalker way, of course)

Badass for sure! You definitely earn your Half Fanatic status! I'm also a fanatic from my craziness last Spring of doing 3 in 3 weeks. Maybe I'll try for a double after these two marathons I've signed up for!
