sassystacejchokie79 and other Pittsburgh runners whose names I've not memorized enough to tag - looks like 49 and partly sunny at race start. Tank and shorts/skirt?

Yup, tank and skirt for me with a throw away zip up hoodie.
Including DH who I'm AWing because he is running his first real 25M race tomorrow morning...with 8,000ft of elevation gain! Gotta love mountain trail races!

On my weather app that I have been obsessively checking for the past two weeks, there is a chance of rain in the 9am hour...
I'm still trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on wearing my pulse shorts. I know, NO new gear on race day but they were pretty comfy for my shorter run earlier this week and I didn't have to fuss with them or notice any chub rub...

decisions, decisions.
It's gonna be warm by the end. I think I am now going with shorts (new gear--but I've tried them on a shorter run) and a short sleeve or tank.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

.... I forgot throwaway gear. And I'm already (kind of) en route.
I'd appreciate happy groin, no-stabby-vagina thoughts for my 10miler on Sunday. I'm flying 3000 miles to run this race with my sister (first time we've run together since the 2009 Philly half)- I'll be so sad if my groin hasn't healed enough and starts hurting.

Bermuda length shorts and tank for me. Was going to wear arm warmers but probably won't need them. Have an ugly turkey trot shirt to toss after the start.
I'm doing a 3 hour "endurance" mountain bike race this weekend. Unlike traditional XC that each division does a certain number of laps, in this format you do as many laps as you want to/can in 3 hours. The person in your division to do the most in the least amount of time wins.

Sending you happy, healthy thoughts. Hope you feel a-ok for the race!
So is the frequency taken over the entire time you're out there, or can you choose a 30 or 45 minute period that you want "scored"? Oh my lord the race math would just about melt my brain!
Yes, it's taken the entire time. You are scored on the entire 3 hours. You could choose to do 1 lap, or you could do 3-4. Some of it depends on how long the course is. This weekend's course is pretty long, so I'll only get in 2 laps.
I'm sorry I was a selfish bastard that posted and ran earlier.
Good luck to all the racers this weekend. I know it's a big weekend for a lot of us.
We've all worked so hard to get to this point. Trust in your training and enjoy every moment. Love you all and thank you all for being constant inspirations to me!
