She came to work sick with a fever, was coughing all over her desk (and she does what I do - she knows better than to do this), and now I'm sick. She got diagnosed with H1N1B flu. Granted, it's a strain that was covered in the flu vaccine (thankfully), but we both got the same shot. I guess her immune system is worse than mine? I dunno. Either way, it sucks. I'm coughing, have a low-grade temp (which went down without Tylenol, thank goodness), and now I can't hang out with my kid on a Saturday because someone at work was stupid and came to work sick.
I have Ricola cough drops, saline nasal spray, and chugging water and tea. I really, really hope this doesn't change into something that needs antibiotics because I'm allergic to the safest ones.
Yes, this is kind of a repeat of FB, but I just wanted to vent here, too.
Sorry. Being sick while pregnant sucks ballz, especially when you were exposed by someone who knew they were sick and knew you were pregnant.
My only gripes today are not having the time/energy to clean my house like it needs to be and/or not being able to afford a maid. And the on-again, off-again rain messing with my plans to go for a walk.

My complaint for today is my sister watched bkb and didn't make her take a nap until 4:15 so we had to wake her up at 5pm and now she's a cranky nightmare. We're resorting to Tangled to keep her happy. Luckily for me I'm still buzzed from my wine tasting trip with mkate710.

Ughhh. I hate when people do that, regardless of whether I'm preggers. If you're sick, STAY HOME. I will never understand why that is so complicated for some people.
I don't get why management didn't send her home when she had an effing fever!! That means she's def contagious and will actually cost the company more money in sick days and lost productivity because she'll get more people sick.
I'm sorry she came in sick -- that sucks! I really hope you feel better soon.
Right now my boss is the suckiest person in my life. He's been going out of his way to make my life miserable but at 6 months pregnant it's really not a good time for me to be looking for a new job. Some of the stuff he's pulled likely might cross a line with HR. As it stands, if he gives me a bad review I'll go to HR. If not, then I probably won't unless it gets worse. His latest change is requiring me to be in the office 3 days a week instead of just 1 like before. Which means an extra 9 hours of commuting just got added to my weeks.
