I rarely eat before morning runs, unless I'm feeling actively hungry, and then I'll just have a banana. Or half a banana. Even before really long runs, the most I eat is a cup of coffee and a banana. My stomach can't handle anything heavy before a workout.
Similar to others. Under 7 miles, I typically don't eat anything. 8+ I usually eat a banana, but if I wake up and am hungry and I am doing less, I will have a banana. Typically I am not hungry right when I get up though.
nope. eating prior to running=puking for me. i can stomach a couple shot bloks but that's it. the only exception is when i'm up really early before a race-then i can usually keep a banana down.

This is me too. If I'm running and my stomach starts growling, the rest of my run is usually shot. I get super grumpy, so while 8+ is the general plan, I will eat (I've even had just a few crackers), if I feel like I'm going to actually be hungry mid-run.
Toast and peanut butter for me. If I don't eat, I won't make it through the run - doesn't matter how short. And also, will start beating people for food. I get pretty nasty when I don't eat.
I would like to reduce grains though so need an alternative to toast. Not sure what to do yet.

I can't eat a meal before any kind of workout or I feel sick. I might grab a handful of almonds, or a small piece of bread with almond butter if I think need a bit of energy, but that's it until I'm finished.
the couple of times I have run in the morning it has either been a 3 mile run or so, in which case I do not eat, or an actual half marathon, in which case I get myself up early to eat my normal half marathon breakfast and give it time to digest before running.
