I was at my mom's house the other day and she was playing back her answering machine messages (yes, my parents have an old school answering machine, right next to the clay tablets and cuneiform stylus) and I heard the beginning of one message and thought it was my sister. Nope, it was me. Weird.
And I'm often told I don't look like a Kevin. More like a Carl or a Gary.
Really? You've always looked more like a Fred to me.
My parents have used my middle name since birth and that's what I use socially. It matches me perfectly. Once I became an adult, it was easier for me to go by my first name professionally. That name doesn't fit me at all. It's an old lady name. I think my mom knew from the start that it didn't match me but she let my dad talk her into it.
My voice is too high for my height and weight. It's not unnaturally high but it shouldn't belong to a big chick.
I think my name matches me, though it is not at all interesting. I just can't imagine having a different name.
I heard something on the radio this week about how everyone hears their own voice deeper than others hear it or it sounds when recorded, something to do with traveling across sound waves (?). I do like my voice, and I have been told I have a "radio voice" when I speak in front of large groups. However, hearing it recorded always reminds me that I have more of a twang/drawl than I think I do.

Apparently I talk like a valley girl because everyone always asks me if I'm from california. Since I'm blonde I suppose it kind of goes with me-but then I feel like I have to go out of my way to prove that I actually have a brain as well.

My first name matches me my last name confuses those familiar with the Nation Origin of that name. There have been many occasions where my last name has prompted a ton of questions.
I have been told by at least 6, probably more, unrelated individuals since high school that I look like a "Meredith". So I guess I don't look like a "Heather"? Or I look like some celebrity named Meredith?
My voice fits, but I hate to hear it on recordings.
No one ever calls me by my full first name because it doesn't really suit me. My nickname does though. Everyone always tells me I sound like Ellen Pompeo. I'm never quite sure how to take that.
Definitely no to my name. My name really is Harmony and there is very little that is harmonious and tranquil about me. The locals who know me can attest to that.
As for my voice, I guess it suits me. If we are pairing that with my name, then hell no. I may think I am the American Idol winner when I am alone in my car, but me singing in public would be a crime against humanity.

Upside: I don't think valley girl speak is a thing anymore Downside: I think it's been replaced by the Kardashian  baby voiceÂ

I don't know if my voice matches me. I don't think my names matches me, but it fits better than what I was going to be named. I think my middle name is a better fit for me.
