"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Usually 3-4 times. They tend to fit best on day 2 and 3; most of mine are a bit snug on day 1 and start to sag by day 4. Sometimes I'll eke out another day or two if I need to throw a pair on quickly but don't feel like dirtying a new pair.
I voted 3-4 but it depends on the jeans. The bigger ones have to be washed every time to get them tight again. The almost-too-small ones can go longer.
Average twice. Between 2 little ones and Old Navy (stretched out in 5 minutes) jeans, they don't last long around here. My "nicer" jeans can go longer IF I can keep them clean!
1-2 times. I don't understand how jeans are that different from shirts. Do people not sweat? Not go outside, sit on public surfaces? Most of mine get stretched out after a couple wears anyway.
Generally, after 4-5 wears I guess. I don't really keep track, but I rarely wear jeans long enough to feel like they get dirty. I'm in work or gym clothes most of the time.
Sometimes that means I've only worn them once or twice because I wear work clothes mostly. Sometimes it may be more like 3 or 4. It's just easiest for me to throw them in with the load I do on weekends.
I saw this on the news and I don't understand it. Not just the smell (which apparently you can get rid of by spraying vodka or vinegar, or putting in the freezer??), but I always get stains on them! How do these people not get stains on their clothes?
I wash mine every 4-5 wears or so. I was thinking about trying to go a little longer this time, since apparently you're supposed to, and then realized I had mud splattered all over them.

Only when they get a visible stain on them, or if they are getting baggy and I want the fit to be more snug. Since I don't have kids, they don't get dirty as often. Although sometimes my lab jumps up on me and gets paw prints on them!
I can go months without washing them. However, I don't wear them all that often due to my work wardrobe.

It depends what I'm using them for. If I've been working in my garden or construction or something then I'll probably wash them every time I wear them. If I'm just wearing them to work then probably 2-3 times.

This is very highly dependent on what's going on. In a perfect world, with no sticky fingers and no face covered in BBQ sauce, 3-4 times. However, such things exist and I found I've been washing my jeans almost every time I wear them lately. Also, I used to wash them everyday when I worked in construction.
The only thing I wash after every wear is underwear and t-shirts. The jeans I wear most often have never been washed. Gasp! I bought them a few years ago. Sometimes I'll go months not wearing them, and if I do wear them, it's for an hour or two running errands. I am afraid if I wash them they will be too tight, faded and not fit as perfectly as they do now.
Every 2-4 times. My brother hasn't washed his in months. He says he spot cleans sometimes. There must be poop on them from their baby plus he takes public transit daily. He also ate a skittle off a NYC sidewalk so I don't believe him on anything hygiene related.
That's why I love them so much. Until this pair, I've never liked BR denim. This pair is reliable because it's the same fit every time. Nothing is too tight or too loose. I'm thinking that they don't stretch because I only wear them for an hour or two at a time. Who knows.
Who are you people that change clothes after an hour or two?
wambam, I'm one of those people...the second I'm back home I change into yoga pants and a t-shirt. So I only wear jeans for a few hours at a time when I'm out doing errands, going to dinner, or whatever.
