A coworker of mine got them about a week ago. They are very dramatic and look really good. She said they should last about a month. She does put mascara on them but I don't think she has to or anything.
I had them done a few months ago. They lasted just over a week, and the cost was $50ish. Somewhere around there. I was told not to use mascara because it can rip out the lashes, but I don't think I would have put any on just because they were pretty dark anyway. I was told to use an oil free makeup remover to clean off any makeup.
They looked good, and I would do it again, except I think I will go for the more expensive/longer lasting extensions because these particular lashes just didn't last long enough for my liking.
I have them right now. They last two weeks for me before they start looking sparse. I've had them on for a couple of months after taking a 6-month break. Before that, I had them on for 8 months. My lash lady is great about telling me when it's time to take them off and give my lashes a breather.
The initial set is $100 for a full set of natural extensions, $150 if you want to go extreme and have the crazy every lash is covered set. Fills are $40.
I don't wear mascara because it just isn't necessary for me. My natural lashes have pretty good length, but they're thin. These cut my getting ready time in half!
I got them - they were hella expensive - $150, but looked amazing. I have short, stubby, pale lashes and vainly got them done before giving birth so I'd look better in hospital photos. Absolutely not necessary to wear mascara (you also risk making them last not as long) but the extensions were quite thick/firm hair.
Mine lasted about 6 weeks before they looked ratty.
The downside for me, is that when they fall out, they kind of take your own lashes with them, so you have to either keep refilling, or you end up with half-bald eyelids. I refilled twice, then I found it to be too expensive to keep up, and they irritated my eyes a bit too. Will post a pic!
Now, when not wearing mascara, you can hardly tell that I have eyelashes. I wish I knew about them before I got married, I would have totally gotten them done for wedding/honeymoon, even though they wreak havoc on my natural lashes.

So you know that post about MLisms yesterday, and my contribution was "It's a struggle to spend all my money"? This right here is what I'm talking about! I am completely floored by $100 eyelashes that last two weeks, and then you go back for a $50 touchup. Do people do this year-round? And like a couple of people have posted, if the extensions falling out take your real eyelashes with them, how long do the lashes take to grow back in? So many questions! marina007, that's a gorgeous pic, btw! Not just the lashes, but those lashes are astounding!
That said, I am curious about eyelash dyeing. Has anyone had that done? If so, details, please.

This is what scares me about them--all 3 people I know who got them stopped because when the extensions fell out chunks of their real lashes fell out too. Your picture is beautiful though!
I've probablly seen people with really good ones and not even known it but I will say that a co-worker had them and all of my accounts referred to her as "the girl with the lashes," so they may not be as natural looking as you think they are.
Have you considered Latisse? It's awesome. When I'm not pregnant, I'm a total fan The difference in six weeks is DRAMATIC and it doesn't have the longer term downsides of extensions (clumping, falling out)

Was this directed at me? I'll assume so, and tell you that I really like having green eyes, and I know Latisse can change eye color to brown, and I'd rather have wimpy eyelashes than brown eyes! I'm really invested in my greenies.

I have heard this too. I have hazel eyes but now there is a lot of green and sort of gold color. I started using Latisse but stopped right away because I was afraid of this happening.

First set: $150 Refills: $75
I go every 3 weeks for a refill. I use non-waterproof mascara when they start to look sparse. Have been getting them for about 4 years. I probably can't live without them at this point.
I've looked into Latisse but the cost seems about the same.
My own lashes have not suffered much, they aren't sparse but they seem so short and I'm not sure if they were always that way or not, and now I'm just lashorexic.
It's definitely cheaper than extensions. The bottle is $180 and lasts for 5-8 months. When you first start using it, you'll want to apply everyday for 4 months. After that, you can apply 4x a week or so. My doctor's office often has $50 coupons so the last bottle I bought was only $130.
I had them for about 18 months. The first time, it cost 150 EUR and further 50 EUR every 3 to 4 weeks. I stopped because I had lens implants in January last year.
I noticed that my eyelashes were not longer growing as strong and as long as before (which wasn't very long, hence the extensions!)
Now, after more than 1 year, they are almost back to normal. If I ever have extensions again, it will only be for restricted periods.

I also haven't considered it because I have blue eyes. I'd be so bummed if they changed color.
Mine are long, but I like the look of crazy full ones.
