DS1 (5 next month): Goes to sleep about 9:30. Wakes up between 7 and 7:30. Doesn't nap.
DS2 (27 months): Goes to sleep about 9. Wakes up and comes into our room around 5, then falls asleep with us until around 7. Naps for 1.5 hours a day at school. Doesn't nap at home on weekends.
Holy crap! I knew my kids weren't great sleepers but now that I know what everyone else's kids are doing, I realized I'm screwed.
They go down at 8 something and get up at 5 something. The 2 year old sometimes naps. The 4 year old never naps.
Mine are about the same (9-10 hours a night), though they go to sleep and get up later than yours. DS1 hasn't napped since he was 2; my 2 yo rarely naps on non-school days. It makes for very little free time.

Thank god I'm not the only one
We've tried putting them down later in hopes that they'd sleep later, but we find they get up at 5 anyway.

DS is 6 and goes to bed at 7:30 - asleep by 8 and I wake him up at 7am for school. he's had that bed time/cycle since he was 2. (he napped until he was 4 1/2)

DS (5) goes to bed at 8 and wakes up at 6:30. When she naps, DD (2.5) goes to bed at 8:30/9 and wakes up at 6:30/7. When she doesn't nap, she sleeps 7-7 at least.
