I decided to were a skirt today. Lord knows why, I almost never wear skirts or dresses. Well, somewhere between my front door and walking into work I managed to get a blackish mark on my light colored skirt. No idea what it's from. Luckily it's not easily noticable and it's Friday so hardly anyone is here.

I'm sorry.
On a side note, I don't understand why people think skirts and dresses are uncomfortable. I always feel like I'm getting away with something anytime I leave the house without pants.

I didn't always thing so but aside from being messy and mucking it up, my skirt is pretty comfortable. I think I'm just always cold when I wear them so it has to be really warm for me to do it.
I got a maxi dress caught in a shopping cart wheel, in the rain, at Costco a couple of weeks ago. I had just started out across the parking lot, and I couldn't move. AND there were a bunch of people watching because everyone was waiting for the rain to stop, AND I had Joanna with me. I had to tear the skirt out of the wheel and throw the dress away when I got home.
Talk about embarrassing.
Oh man, that is the worst! I could totally see myself doing that.

For some reason, Costco carts are the WORST with long dresses and skirts. A few weeks ago, my skirt got caught three times on one shopping trip. You need to master the reverse maneuver to unwind your skirt.

I tried, but I think the situation was made worse by the fact my skirt was sopping wet. It just kept getting more tangled.
It's things like this that make me all panicky when taking both kids out shopping. Because, that would be me and DD would choose that exact moment to try and bolt or something or DS would start screaming. Then I'd be that mom on the news who lost her shit in the grocery store parking lot.
