Meeting some girlfriends and their kiddos at the FL Aquarium. They have a splash park outside with a pirate ship, water slide and huge sandbox for the little ones, and a shaded tiki bar with a straight view of said area for the big ones. Brilliant.
It is going to be 37 degrees today, so we won't be spending too much time outside. It's supposed to be brutally hot all week. I might take the kids to the drive in later tonight if they're still playing a kids movie.
My H is obsessed with putting these little felt movers on the bottom of all of our furniture. We just bought a new tv stand, and it comes with plastic movers on the bottom, but he insists it will still damage the floor (nevermind we wont be moving it around anyway) and put felt on the top of that. Ugh it collects cat fur and looks so trashy.
Ugh, my h did this too. I hate them! The chairs always have hair and junk all twisted up on the felt thingies. Also, it makes it way easier for the kids to slide furniture around (end tables and stuff) which is SO annoying!
Finishing my coffee watching a surfing movie with DS. I need to go put in a few miles with the dog. After that it is swim lessons for the little man and a lunchtime play date at the lake. It's going to be gorgeous today, I can't wait!

Getting yet more bloodwork done, talking the husband in to going out for breakfast, taking my car to the shop, then dunno! Feeling human for the first time in a week, maybe I'll actually clean this apartment?

I am taking the boys to a splash pad\playground. They have never been to one. Cal might not partake because he hated the sprinkler last year and cries when he gets his head wet in the bathtub.
Car shopping! For H, not me. He's being adorably freaked out about it. It'll be his first non-used car and he's having sticker shock and second thoughts about spending money. But his car is 2001 and mine is 2002, so one of us has to go for it because I'm not replacing two cars at one time. So if anyone has a Toyota Rav-4 and wants to give a pep talk about how great it is, please do!

Going to a local cafe for lunch with the kids and a friend, running errands. Ended up going for that hike yesterday so there's a lot of laundry to do and water shoes to clean. There was creek hiking, creek swimming and mud involved.)

I intended to spend the day in the pool, but now it looks as though I had a reaction to is yesterday so DH is off checking the chemical levels. I'm so angry that he didn't keep on top of it, and that I know feel like a human torch. I am HOT.
I have no other plans for the day. DH wants to set up our home wireless network for TV magic shit. Should have gone to the cottage.

My sister has a RAV4 and loves it. I'm not sure what year hers is though.
H and I are car shopping as well and are leaning towards a new Mazda cx-5.
I slept in till 11! (Fed the baby at 5:30 and 9 but my H did diaper duty and brought him to me ahhh.) It is overcast here today so I guess my H is motivated to get things done in the house (right now he is unloading the clean dishwasher). Huzzah!

I'm your dh here. Lol I have so many of those felt things! My roomba cleans them though, like it brushes the felt things and sucks up the dog fur so I they don't collect the fur and look gross. I hope not anyway :/ I used to change them weekly before I got a roomba, now I change them monthly or every six weeks. I cringe when anything moves on my wood floors, not even so much the scratches, the sound hurts my insides or something.
I went to 7am barre and am packing for a drive down to San Diego. I have a half marathon tomorrow morning that I've done almost zero training for, so if you don't see me here, call San Diego PD, okay?

We've had this weather for over a week. I'm over it, lol. There are only so many hours I can spend away from home and Target has too much of my money this month already.
Yesterday, I got a site at the campground so that we could hang out at the pool (only outdoor pool here), but we didn't camp. I'm going to pick up breakfast and take G back there and get the full use of our site and the pool until checkout time this afternoon.
We've been camping in osoyoos all week and I'm dying. It is so hot here. But we avoided the stampede.
You guys know my crazy BIL's girlfriend, the one who wants to shit on Obama and is scared of short people? Ugh, they are having a big birthday party for their kids that's an hour and a half away and it's at 4:30 so it's totally eating up our entire Saturday. I'm so annoyed by this and I'm dreading going. This woman fucking frightens me. Ugh.

I really want to do a barre class, but there aren't any up here in northeast philly. I'd have to go down to the trendier neighborhoods to go, ugh. We just got a yoga studio like two years ago!
This is how I feel about pilates. All the reformer studios are in trendy/impossible-to-park neighborhoods and it's annoying. There's one in Northern Liberties run by the sister of a friend from high school, but I don't want to drive up there. /whine I'm sorry about your aunt.
He just leased his first new car this morning and he is so cute and excited. I'm planning onccleaning, being lazy, and possibly returning shirts to Target.

Funny thing. For the past 15 years, we have gone to Osoyoos this week to avoid the stampede and the festival in the town we live in. This year my H had to work and I didn't want to do the insane heat with G alone. Where are you camping? The one on the reserve is so awesome.
That's where we are! I would be enjoying it except for the unreal heat rash all over my legs and arms. Pure misery.
