Can we talk about the things you do for yourself? What are your hobbies and/or things you do just for your own happiness? Is there anything you want to try?
I started dabbling in acrylic painting a few weeks ago and I totally feel so in tune with Bob Ross now.
I also think I want to take up canoeing at some point.

I love acrylic painting! I haven't painted in a few years. I saw an open Wine & Design painting teacher position on CL, and I need to make a few new pieces. I think that sounds like such a fun PT job.
I also love baking, laying in bed watching trashy tv, and reading.

I have a Silhouette Cameo and like to make things with that. So far, I've made invitations, stencils and party decorations. There's so much more that I want to do with it. I belong to a lot of FB groups for it, and see all the things you can do with it.
I used to loom knit a decent amount when I had to catch the train to work. I need to pick that up, and maybe venture into regular knitting or crocheting.
I have a sewing machine, but haven't touched it in awhile. It needs to be replaced. I'd love to get better at that.
I read, I garden. I bike (well, not so much this year since the baby can't go in the trailer yet).
Before the babies I would needlepoint. It got hard keeping my box available cause they'd go into it or try and stand/crawl on it. I would like to get back to that.
If I can manage it with pumping/nursing, I go to wine tastings.
This is why it's hard for me to carve time for myself because the things I like to do are all "home" things. And when I'm home I'm like "And the kitchen needs to be cleaned, and laundry needs to be done, and we need to dust and vacuum and tidy and...." It's impossible for me to relax.
I also enjoy sewing, but that's on hold for a bit as I figure out what to do with my other unfinished projects that have no reason to be done now. I used to crochet, but haven't really done anything with that for years. I might try to pick up knitting to see what I can do with it.
I buy a shitton of makeup and play around with it on my face.
You, too? What a coinkydink!
I am teaching myself Norwegian.
I don't know if this counts as a hobby, but I'm trying to finally get through the stack of bedside table books that have been collecting dust. Apparently I am in love with the idea of buying books, but not necessarily taking the time to sit down and read them. ^o)
Camping for the first time in forever this weekend.
Want to try canning. Have a ukulele and a piano and want to be able to play them. Trying to learn racquetball, but years of tennis makes that harder, not easier (who knew?).
My face is my canvas! I also like trying out different hair products and hair styles.
Reading is probably my main, non judgeworthy hobby, but I also am obsessed with sports, various television shows, and shopping for myself and others. I think everyone knows that I shop a lot for my kids and their wardrobes are a fun hobby for me. During the school year, I do the room mom/PTA thing, which is kind of a hobby, I guess, because I do enjoy it.
I'm hoping to get back into playing tennis this fall when Scarlett is in school two days a week, and I also plan to volunteer more both at the kids' schools and at our local historical society.
I love to swim, bike and run. But right now the only thing I can do is run, I've been injured and have been slowly making gains to hopefully come back and do the things I love.
Oil painting. Reading, when I have the time. I love swimming and wish I had started doing it sooner. I watch an inordinate amount of Netflix/TV. Oh, and languages. I'm learning German and ASL, in addition to trying to maintain/improve my French.
This question makes me feel bad about myself, lol. I have a lot of things I love to do but do them so infrequently that its unfair to call them my hobbies.
I love to ski, kayak, hike, run, garden, knit, sew and cook.
I like to run (it took a while but I actually do really enjoy it now, lol), crochet, read, cook/bake (I love looking through cookbooks) and I'm starting to enjoy gardening as a hobby.

I dabble in pretty much anything and everything.
Reading, woodworking, jewelry making, scrapbooking, photography, cooking/baking, cake decorating, sewing, embroidery, knitting, belly dancing, board games, computer games, video games, general geekery, canoeing, writing really bad sci-fi/fantasy stories. Hell I've even tried my hand at fire breathing.
The problem is that I don't have enough time, and I'm interested in too many things, so I'm never able to spend enough time on it to get past being passable at something. Jack of all trades, master of none.
Does GBCN count? I like to read and bake; I used to cross-stitch and sew, and when I was a teenager I was really into painting ceramics and drawing, but I don't really have any hobbies anymore. Sitting on the computer is really the only thing the kids will let me do for any amount of time.
