I am hoping my religious regiment of sunscreen, glycolic peels and retinol keeps me looking good. I see a lot of scary-looking faces in SoCal, and I'm not sure if it's surgery, or too much Botox, or what. But I think it looks horrible. I'm probably not noticing the people with well-done Botox treatments, LOL.

No but I want to. I'm getting some forehead wrinkles that I don't love. And I've been using wrinkle cream since I was like 19 or so.
Part of me is like let's do it and then I see people who've had bad Botox. Plus I wanna be able to mean mug the fuck out of people what if I can't do that any more??
My neuro wants me to do the ones for headaches but the possible risks on those ones sound way more terrifying than face Botox.
I got botox for the two wrinkles between my eyebrows and it didn't work. I went to Restalyn instead. It's been 3 years and I just now need another injection.
I got it done last Friday for migraines, and the lack of movement in my forehead is freaking me the fuck out. I keep trying to make surprised looking faces in the mirror and I can't.

And I didn't do it for the lines in my forehead (although that is a plus). It's for the furrows between my brows. too many years of squinting and frowning I guess.

If you look close enough you can tell if a person uses Botox. It's only to be used around the corners of the eyes, the forehead and in between the brows. You can't use it for droopy eyelids. So if a person has a tight forehead and no crows feet, but is all crepe-y right above and below the eyes: Botox'ed

Pretty inexpensive and they always have sales if you sign up for emails, or check the Daily Deal. The 40% glycolic peel is my favorite; the mandelic peel is good, too.
I haven't had botox yet but I plan to once I feel like I need it.
I got a light chemical peel before my wedding and my skin looked so flawless. I have been wanting to do another one.
tell me more.
I have some sun damage and old acne scars. Does this help with that?
I have some light acne scarring/discoloration as well and it helped TREMENDOUSLY with them. Again, I had a lighter chemical peel done so the redness/burning wasn't as extreme as I think some can get. My skin just looked completely renewed, healthy and radiant. I know that sounds corny but it's amazing what happens once they get all the old dead skin off your face.
