yep, I did the "girl diet" with Anna and nothing for the boys (my normal diet is more similar to the "boy diet"). Sample size of 2 here with this working, lol
I just googled it, and my normal diet is "girl diet" (veggie, lots of dairy, hate salt). We also had sex five days before ovulation (preventing). Apparently, I was just destined to have a boy.
There's also things like caloric intake and cervical mucus pH involved. It wouldn't work for everyone but we thought we would give it a shot since it wouldn't hurt anything. When I looked at studies on it , it seemed compelling.

We didn't do Shettles.
Oh, don't get me wrong, if I had a strong gender preference, you can bet that I would be reading up on the method and following it precisely. Like you said, it can't hurt.

I really wanted a girl, but I was too lazy to change my diet and too desperate to get pregnant at all to do shettles. My hat is off to you for your commitment, lola.
I drank. A lot. You weren't supposed to have any alcohol. My commitment ended at complete sobriety. Lol
We used it even when we weren't TTC when I was bfing (in conjunction with condoms) because I loved it's lubey goodness during that dry, dry time. But, lord no, I never used a whole applicatorful. That would be like a slip and slide.
