Did anyone get back to their former size after pregnancy? I mean, within a year or two or whatever. Or should I start budgeting for a whole new wardrobe now?
I was back in my old clothes at 10 weeks. My hips didn't spread (had a c/s). I FF and had a minimal appetite while home and keeping busy with the baby. I walked daily, nothing crazy though.
I am an 8 and am at the healthiest I have ever been. I have been a 12 and after I left my ExH I dropped to a 0. That was pure stress tho and totally unhealthy.

I got down to my prepregnancy weight rather quickly, but my body shape changed. Even when I lost more weight than my prepregnancy weight I was still a size bigger.
At the stores I shop in, usually a 2-4. I'm pretty sure they vanity size though- gap, banana, j crew. I'm not at all a stick, and probably weigh more than you'd expect a "2-4" to weigh.

I actually weigh about 10lbs less than I did pre pg. DS will be 2 next month. I try to be good about the gym but really attribute it to stress and carrying around a 31 lb kid.
I'm an 18/20 right now (more towards the 20). At my heaviest I was a 28/30. Crazy.
When I lost a bunch of weight a few years ago I was down to a 14, and a 12 in dresses and M/L in tops. I'm gearing up to get healthier again, and since I'm 5'11" and pear-shaped, a size 16 looks pretty awesome. I'm aiming for that. 14 in vanity sized pants.

I'm a 00 at Ann Taylor and a 0 at Gap. I have a really hard time shopping because I'm so petite. Like Trixie said, it's hard to find work clothes. I have to shop in the juniors section a lot.
14. I used to be a 12 lol. I was a 10 for like a year in college. I'm thick, I'll never be a single digit so I don't sweat it. I've never really had an issue with my size. I think I need to quit snacking because my jeans are getting tight.

You might lose the weight but your body may also change to where your old clothes don't fit well. Pregnancy, man. These kids are lucky they're so cute!

Yes. I am the same size but shit don't fit.
My stomach is all weird and I have to tuck it in lol. Plus HIPS man.
Omg I soooooo had that experience looking at vacation photos last night. It was like, "Who is that chubby lady standing next to Lu? Oh. OH. OHHHHH."
LOL.
I am starting the Whole 30 in a few weeks. Fingers crossed.
Right now I'm a 12-14ish. Most of the time I am fairly whatever about it but I feel like I am fat just from doing stupid stuff like snacking too much, eating too much sugar, drinking too much beer, etc. Like, I could be smaller and not suffer, you know? And I like clothes but feel blah about most things at this weight.
It's just a very weird experience inhabiting a body that is so different from how I was before. I was always solidly in the healthy weight range without effort before I had the girls.
Yeah, this is me too. Put down the pizza, self.
I'm in the same boat. I was a 6 before kids and am more of a 10 now, occasionally an 8. I want to lose 20 lbs and my "baby" is 2, but I can't put the wine or snacks down. In keep telling myself I will do it once she weans or starts sleeping through the night.

6/8 on bottom, XS/S on top. The more weight I gain the more ridiculously disproportioned I get. I need to lose 15-20lbs right now, but I'm in an I don't give a shit mode... I need to snap out of it now.

Yeah I held onto the pregnancy weight until DD was about 1.5, then lost it over the next 6 months or so. Two years later I'm down another 7-8 lbs, but I think it's mainly stress.
ETA: I'm anywhere between a 4 and an 8, depending on store/clothing article. 6, mostly.

Maybe I'm jaded by vanity sizing everywhere, but you look like a 2-4 to me. I'm the same size.
RexManningDay, I was able to get back to my regular size fairly soon after each of my pregnancies, but after my first, a lot of my clothes fit differently. Especially in the chest (obviously), but also around my ribs and hips.
Right now I'm a 16/18. I feel my best around a size 10/12. I've gained about 40 lbs since getting married. It's super hard to get motivated to lose it. I love to eat delicious, fatty foods. Boo. I wish I could be more disciplined. Then, when I get disciplined and lose the weight, I slowly gain it back. My body fights so hard to keep it off. :/
I'm also going to drop this little confession here: I bought a maternity belly band so that I could wear work pants that are too tight. :? :-# So I go to work with unbuttoned pants. But no one can tell! It just looks like I'm layered with a long black tank underneath. Sigh.

I guess I mean that "designer" sizes are most accurate, and that I probably wouldn't be a solid 2 in those.
It really is interesting to see how many people of different shapes and sizes can be the same size in clothing.
I'm nervous about how things will bounce back after number 2 bc I've heard it can be a lot harder :?.
Yeah. It was weird b/c I never had to worry about my weight (really) until mid 20s. Then...BAM. lol. The weird thing is I still 'see' myself at a smaller size. Sometimes when I see a pic of myself I'm like 'who is THAT....oh'.

I remember you posting swimsuit/bikini pics a month or so back, to pick a suit, I thought you looked incredible! I could NOT rock a bikini.. and I've never had kids. If that's any consolation to you!
