My coffee tastes like soap. I'm thinking that I hand washed this cup, and didn't rinse it good enough. It's awful, but yet I continue to drink it.
We just got back from Sesame Place yesterday, and even though we only stayed two nights, I was so happy to sleep in my own bed. Everyone was exhausted, and sleeping before 8:30.
I'm not sure what Kate and I are going to do today. We have no major plans, and I kind of like that.
How was Sesame Place? I was going to see if you wanted to meet us at the pool today, but it's chilly!
Caroline has been crying every waking hour since Monday. We don't have any family that will help. Our schedule is just not sustainable, H and I are rarely home at the same time and I have about 5 minutes after he gets home to get ready for work. I'm so sorry to vent but H isn't responding to my texts and I just need to get it out. I hate complaining so much.
I am away this weekend for a wedding but I am around all next week. If you need a hand at all, let me know! I can even come solo and hold a screaming kid for you on the days I drop Tyler at daycare. His daycare isn't far from you.
And if you want to ever meet at the zoo, let me know. We can bring lots of guests for free.
That's very sweet of you! A trip to the zoo sounds great. I'll have to work up the courage to take all 3 kids out at once.
Training for this half marathon has killed any desire I've had to ever run a full marathon. It's so much work and I feel like I can't fall behind or I won't be able to run the half. And a full would be double the training

I guess A pays attention to what I wear. MH and I have the same t-shirts from an event we went to. The other day he had his on and A says "Dad! You can't wear mom's shirt!"
katfco my mum is a PhD and lots of her colleagues have EdDs. She is not impressed when people say that they are the same thing!!!
I have lots d soft bananas so need to do some baking. Maybe I'll throw some of my new cocoa powder in and see what happens!
This one seems to be even more Ed.D. light--just a year of classes and then a year-long thesis/dissertation. She called it a dissertation, the school website calls it a capstone field research project. The whole group thing was especially odd to me.
We bought j a really cheap tablet to keep him busy while I put A down for naps. When we got him and turned it on, we realized the screen was pretty low quality and bad. The touch sensitivity wasn't that great either. Within a week, j had scratched it, but we were whatever about it. Guys, two weeks later I figured out there is a screen protector on it. There was no scratch, it was a bubble, which led me to find the screen protector. I feel incredibly dumb. But to my credit, I asked my husband if it had one, and he said no. So really, he's the dumb one.
abbypug19 I'm glad you feel a little better after your cry. You seriously have your hands full, I don't know how you do it. You are doing amazing, even if it doesn't feel that way sometimes. I hope your schedules can be better soon. Big hugs!

I told myself that I would never run another half marathon, let alone a full marathon, after I ran my first half. I went on to run 3 more half, and 2 full marathons. Lol!
But I definitely agree with training being very time consuming, which is a reason I won't run another full in the near future. I used to wake up at 4:30am to be out the door at 5:00, so that I could be done with my long run at a fairly decent morning hour....otherwise my whole afternoon would be shot.

Half marathon is a great distance! I have run several and have no real desire to train for a full. Maybe that will change, but I love the half - enough of a challenge without feeling like I am chained to my training.

Sesame was great. The girls had an excellent time!
It's nice out, but you're right, too chilly for the pool. We go camping this weekend, and get back on Tuesday. Maybe we can plan something for next Thursday?

Honestly the training has killed all of my desire to run races at all. I think a lot of it has to do with my H's schedule. I'm with Jamie from wake up to bedtime and then have to jump on the treadmill after I put him down and don't feel like I have any time to myself
I just checked out at the grocery store with 3 boxes of fruit snacks, a gallon of ice cream, and a 12 pack of diet coke. I think I was judged.
I feel judged at the grocery store a lot because we buy cereal when it's on sale, so I often will buy 8 boxes at a time and DH mostly likes the sugary cereal (yes, he's like a 5-year-old that way). It's also often around the time when other snacks are on sale, so I may have a couple of bottles of soda, a few bags of Chex Mix and 8 boxes of cereal.
