Good morning! It looks like a nice day here so far, though I won't see much of it. Still a bit tired from being out late on Saturday for my future SIL's hen night - we did cocktails in the afternoon, early dinner and then went to a Burlesque show afterwards - it was fun!
QOTD: I don't really have one... we just don't go out that ofter to have a favourite!
I got a lot done today but then it all started to slowly fall apart :-( The plug expander that I bought causes the table to sit about 4 inches away from the wall
I had someone transfer all the stuff from my old computer to my new computer (I always get the stuff into the wrong spot and have to pay someone to fix it anyway) and come home to find out that all he did was drop the stuff onto the D drive. OK, but the new version of Firefox is as awful to use as Google Chrome and it is telling me that the bookmarks he threw on to the D drive are not in the right format and can't be imported. Or, I'm doing it wrong WHICH IS WHY I PAID HIM IN THE FIRST EFFING PLACE!
Not having a good day at all ...
QOTD: We don't go out to eat nearly enough to have a favorite.

I have no big plans today.
QOTD: My favorite restaurant here serves a variety of food. Salads, pasta, and entrees. My favorite dish there is a goat cheese salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a little bit of honey. It's so good. There's also a good high-end Turkish restaurant that I like.
Good morning! I just sent off a big file to some editors in London, so I feel great. I made my deadline despite DD being sick all weekend and sleeping like crap and despite DH having to take a billion conference calls and go to the office. And now that DD is better, she is still sleeping at 10:45am!!!
QOTD: I love the restaurant across the street from my house, Les Garcons. The food is really yummy, but the service is even better. They're always super nice to us and chit-chat with DD, bringing her things to entertain her during dinner, and best of all, they're even willing to let us call in our order and do take-out on their ceramic plates. We just wash them and bring them back the next day.

Morning! :-)
Weekend was good here! It was the first weekend of Ramadan, so we were pretty lazy and stayed inside most of the weekend. It was great :-)
QOTD: My favorite restaurant is definitely Market at the W Hotel. It's got the best food and service. We're there at least once a week! They also do an express lunch - 3 courses for 90 Riyals (about 20 bucks). It's awesome.
Morning everyone! I'm at the office wondering about the sheer incompetence of my co-worker and just had a chair massage.
My weekend was lazy-ish, yet awesome. A friend just opened his own wine bar/restaurant so we went there for his opening party. And my dad brought my new kindle over. Yay!
Good morn/afternoon/evening, depending on where you are!
I scrounged up the motivation to workout after work today. Damnit I am out of shape! I need to keep myself on track with working out 3 times per week, and not just on the weekends. Getting a treadmill after work is difficult, but I hate getting up earlier than I have to before work. Gah, first world problems.
QOTD: We've been to The Vietnamese Restaurant (clever name!) the most of any restaurant, because it is nearby, cheap and delish. I also love Grill'd, a chain of upscale burger joints in Bris.

Morning! Just using DD´s naptime to hammer out a translation. So far so good.
QOTD: There´s a really cute Italian place not too far from here that I like. They have an awesome pizza with arugula and parmesan cheese...now I`m hungry. Otherwise the place that´s just a five minute walk from our house, down the street is pretty good, too. They have a delicious veg. dish with roasted veggies and balsamico sauce and goat cheese. Now I´m really, really hungry and no dough to go out to eat. Sniff, sniff. Guess I´ll just have to eat frozen pizza with DD.
I had a really great weekend. We were in the country-side with friends and went horseback riding and biking. Mostly just being lazy and watching movies though.
Today I need to finish up a report and prepare an agenda. I am not working on the dissertation today since I am in kind of a bad mood and I generally write poorly then. In those cases I do other mandatory things like laundry and groceries (did that already) etc. Will go downtown to pick up a dress I ordered at a store.
QOTD: There are so many good restaurants around here and we only tried a few. I like a vegetarian one close by that is funky and informal and also an artsy one just downstairs from our apartment building, because it's so close by, tasty and cheap. My mom loves a little bistro close by at the edge of the park because it's cheap and really good. Lots still to try and I am looking forward to it!

Good morning! The weekend was relaxing but productive -- housework on Saturday, baking on Saturday and Sunday and laundry both days.
My big news is that I booked my tickets home for the holidays. I am really really excited!
QOTD: For sit down meals, a seaview pub in a town about 15 minutes up the way. For take-away, a great pizza place in a town about 10 minutes the other direction.

Morning! We had extended family in town over the weekend, and it was great to see everyone. After my m/c I ended up telling them all about it, so I decided to go ahead and share the news about this pregnancy. They're all very excited, and then at least they understood when I was feeling like poo yesterday. I was nauseous almost the whole day and had a horrible headache to boot.
QOTD: In Germany we hardly ever go out, but here my parents go out all the time, so we go with them. My favs are either a sandwich place I used to work at or a TexMex restaurant we go to frequently.
BFP1: DD born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP

Good morning! I just got back from a run, I'm having lunch with a friend today doing some last minute shopping before I need to leave on Wednesday.
QOTD: I'm currently in my hometown...my favorite restaurant here is Chipotle . In Neuchatel, there's two, a local Thai restaurant...best pad thai ever and an organic cafe, they have the best chevre chaud salad...yum.
Hi. We had a nice weekend. Today I need to get on the phone with United. Need to book a flight to Georgia with miles my dad is giving me. Visiting my grandma for a week next month. The issue is I'm bringing a kitten back with me. Lots to figure out.
QOTD: A place called the Tiny Lounge. It's a small little nook in our area. They have really tasty mini burgers and fries.
Good morning! We had a very nice week end - we managed to do all the things we planned on doing and even had impromptu dinner invitation followed by a charming piano concert.
QOTD: Definitely Asiate at Mandarin Oriental here in NYC. We only went a few times but it was an instant favourite. The food is great and dining overlooking Central Park West from the 35th floor makes it all the more enjoyable.

Hi, I had a lovely weekend overall. I had a beef carpaccio, arugula, and grana padano pizza, so good.
There are some changes in my work but nothing negative about that. I work for a great organization. I feel very lucky although I also feel like I need more challenge. I could possibly get more challenge within the organization but for complicated structural reasons, that is not so easy to pursue at the moment.
QOTD: This is hard, because I like a lot of variety. I'm a bit of a food enthusiast especially when dining out. I try to strike a balance between dining on old favorites and trying new things. There's a great authentic Japanese sushi place that I visit a lot with my mom. (My SO does not eat fish, so no sushi for him). SO and I most frequently go for Italian or sometimes Mexican. He can be a really picky eater although sometimes he finds random new things that he loves because of being around me.
