Technically, norovirus is not airborne unless someone has puked/pooped near you and you inhale but yet tons of people get infected by it.
Yeah, while I'm SUPER glad that Ebola isn't airborne, it's still contagious, clearly, as medically trained individuals are still catching it. And an illness with a fatality rate of 60-90% is scary, no matter how you spin it!
Ebola is very different from the norovirus. Norovirus is very easily spread through particles in the air. Ebola is not spread this way.
Medically trained individuals have contracted it in communities with very limited facilities. They're evacuating them in isolation tents and will care for them similarly here.
Seriously, it's going to be okay here in the States with these two patients.
