St Louis, where I lived at the time. We toured one of the smaller, local breweries, drank some beer, went back to the hotel, drank some more, and went to dinner. It was really low key and awesome
Portland, OR, for a girls' weekend, since I had not been to Oregon before then. My sister and two other friends came in; another already lived there. We did a wine tasting tour, a little shopping, visited a couple of the gardens, went out to dinner, and went to a drag club. I had a great time.

I didn't really have one. My sis (MOH) was only 18 and my two best friends were not in the same area as me. My H's sisters and cousins took me out for tapas/sangria on a Thursday night but I wouldn't call it a bachelorette party.

First marriage- Probably 10-12 girls. We went to dinner in Detroit and then crossed the border into Windsor, ON for some bar-hopping and dancing. Crashed in a hotel room.
Second marriage- Dinner and drinks at a nice restaurant with my SIL, BFF, one and other friend.

Never have had one as I've never been a bride.
Now that I think about it, I've never attended one either. I was once invited to a combo shower/bachelorette (which was basically a friends shower with raunchy party games), but I wasn't able to attend.
Delivery Chinese food and movies at my house with two friends. I didn't really want one, so this was a compromise. I was also terribly hungover from the night before.
Im really not into bachelorette parties though. I find them to become slut fests, and that's just not my scene.

Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Pool during the day, bar hopping at night. Stayed overnight, all went out to breakfast together and then home. I only had a MOH so it was her plus six other good friends.

I wanted to go out dancing, but times had changed since I had been out, and the place we picked was dead. Then we couldn't find the street where the cool bars were (before smart phones.) So we went to a more local divey dance club and they had been shut down the night before for serving minors. So we went to a local restaurant to just get apps and drinks. Closed. Game over, we went home.
I threw a fun bachelorette wine tour for a good friend a few years ago, though!

DChinese sounds lovely to me.
Bachelorette parties need not be slutfests! Mine certainly wasn't. It was a nice, tame series of pool/beach days, nice dinners, and drinks with no gimmicks.
One in Atlanta with local friends--we went dancing at a salsa club. Lots of fun.
One in a college town near my hometown, where we were getting married, two nights before the wedding. We went to a couple of bars and got pretty trashed. Also lots of fun.
My sisters tried to surprise me with a party 3 days before my wedding but my BFF (who was out of the country until the week before my wedding) and my oldest sister accidentally spoiled the surprise. Oops. It was at my second oldest sister's house and super chill. Just good food, sparkling cider (I don't drink alcohol) and gifts of course.
After it was over I went to the hotel where my future ILs were staying and met my SIL & nieces for the first time. I'd met my FIL & MIL once before. That meeting people stuff gets tricky when FIL/MIL live in AK, H and I live in WA and SIL/nieces live in AZ.

We stayed in town. We went out for dinner at my favorite restaurant and then went to a couple upscale bars/lounges. We had a private room at one of them. We got hotel rooms in town and went back there and drank more, and I think we made a late-night McD's run (my MOH DD'd for us). It was fun.
Mine was headquartered at the resort where I worked and we were married, which was OOT for almost everyone. We rented a condo for my family and all the OOT guests got great rates so many came up early. We got married on Saturday, but had rehearsal, rehearsal dinner on Thursday, followed by pub crawl for girls. Wound up back at the resort late. Friday night was more low key, less drunk

I know they don't have to be, but that was the trend in my group for a while. They all had lists of things they had to get at a bar. Like a guys boxers. I want no part in that kind of event.
I think it's mostly the mentality of "its your last night being single!" No. It's not. That was months or years ago. Just because you aren't married doesn't mean you get to trot around like you are single flirting with every dude at the bar.
Don't want one. I hate people making a fuss over me (I seriously wanted to elope because of this). I have a friend who wants to throw me a bridal shower. I do. not. want. one. I'm trying to convince her that I'm serious.
My girlfriends were spread out throughout the Great Lakes region. We met up for a weekend at Put-in-Bay, rented a home, and did some major day drinking (which turned into night drinking and dancing) each day. It was fab.
This was back in '07, and everytime I hear Rhianna's "Umbrella" I think about that awesome weekend!
I love Put-In-Bay. I had 3 bachelorette parties. My bridesmaids and I went to Vegas for a long weekend; 2 of my bridesmaids who live in Cleveland (where I'm from and where my wedding was) hosted a shower for me there and we also had a bachelorette party. We went downtown and had dinner and went clubbing; some of my friends at home in NY had a small party. Pretty much we went out dancing/drinking.

We had dinner at one of the bridesmaid's house and pregamed there. Then apparently my mom rented us a limo for the night. We went to 4-5 bars around Boston and it was an awesome time and so much fun. We ended up at a dueling piano bar. Then a bunch of us spent the night at BM's house and went out for hungover breakfast the next morning.
Miami Beach. My cousins who were local to there planned it and I flew in along with about 5 friends. We stayed at a hotel on the beach for the weekend, ate out a lot, did spa treatments and went to a male strip club.
Local. My friends rented out a nail salon after hours. Started there for mani/pedi, snacks, drinks, lingerie shower. Then went to several local bars. It was all really fun and thoughtful. I got incredibly drunk but it was no slut fest.
