Which bottles did/are you using for newborns?

Just curious which bottles you are using if you are bf and bottle feeding? I need to buy some more. I am using avent right now but wanted to try a couple more brands. Thanks!

Both my boys took to Tommy Tippees easily so we pretty much stuck with them.

Before DS2 was born I got some free samples of Similac brand bottles and he likes those as well. I also used some Gerber ones I got as part of a diaper cake at my shower and they liked those too.

very lucky that neither of them cared about what type of bottle is was. As long as they got milk they were happy

I'm going to try Tommee Tippee this time and then Dr Browns if DS2 doesn't like them. I only had Medela for DS1 and he rarely would take a bottle and then quit altogether.

We bottle feed so rarely right now though that that's all we've used so far. We have some avent and playtex ventaires that we haven't used yet.

We've tried Avent, Born Free, and Playtex drop-ins. He takes the drop-ins the best, and despite my efforts to try every bottle in the aisle at Target, we're sticking with those for a while! I did buy some Tommee Tippee bottles a few weeks ago when they were on a crazy sale. I'm debating whether or not to return them or have him try one. I just hate the waste factor of the drop-ins. Plus, if you don't have the liner, the whole thing is useless. We traveled this past weekend and I had to make sure I had plenty of drop-ins to take with me, just in case.

Playtex Ventaire when I thought DD was going to be able to successfully nurse.

When she went to 100% bottles, we switched to Medela and Gerber bottles with the Gerber collars and nipples. 3 pieces vs. 5 pieces for the Ventaire. The Medela collars and nipples were also way more expensive.

I have zero experience with this, but the lactation consultant at a breastfeeding class I attended recommended Tommee Tippy for breastfeeding moms.
