I am up too early this morning. What is on the agenda for today???
Yesterday, we picked out the crib and did some shopping for LO. I wish we could have waited, but we only have sales in January and July so if I didnt want to pay full price then it has to be now.
Today, I have lots of things to do around the house but I might go back to sleep.
I was up really early today too... because of work!
I'd a really bad night's sleep last night and I could have done with a proper sleep as I was tired yesterday and now I'm exhausted! I've a lot of meetings today and I have a team building afternoon off site which won't be over til around 9pm... great.... And of course that also means that I won't see N today at all... :-(
QOTD: It was fairly hideous looking back on it now... It was dark green, velvet on the (long) sleeves and bodice and satin skirt to my knee (or a little below it)... I shudder when I see the photos now... I was one of the few who had a short dress that year, most had full length dresses, some way worse than mine!!

Good afternoon. Today was relatively easy. I did some housework, a workout and have to plan my grocery list for tomorrow. I talked to my parents in the US -- we discussed the NCAA penalties for Penn State, last week's episode of The Closer (we love Flynn & Provenza episodes), and Mom finished the conversation by telling me she had just read on the news ticker that Sally Ride had died.
Now I am waiting for DH to come home, because it's his night to fix dinner and he is planning savoury French Toast and (fingers crossed) the sweet potato chips we have in the pantry.
QOTD: Junior Prom was an aqua bridesmaids' dress that I had been in love with for years. It was satin with a lace overlay and a sash that tied in a HUGE bow in the back. Senior Prom was an iridescent blue/purple with a high/low hemline and an off-the-shoulder neckline accented by a group fabric roses at the left shoulder.

Good morning. It's a nice day out today, but I don't know if I'll make it out. My over energized-toddler and extremely tired/in pain self aren't a good match right now.
QOTD: I didn't go to prom. I went to a small school and most people lived really close, I was the only person who lived far from the high school. The prom was even farther away from me than the high school was, so I opted to go to a club (I lived in Germany) near my house instead with my boyfriend and my friends who went to prom met me out there later in the evening and spent the night at my house. I don't even remember what I wore to the club though. Probably jeans.

Morning! I'm at work and I finally have some down time to file and clean up my office a little! Thank goodness!
Not much else going on today, just heading home early, hope to run some errands, have dinner and go for a walk around the compound with DH.
QOTD: I loved my prom dress! It was a dark emerald green, sweetheart neckline (with straps), sequined beading all over the top part, and then a chiffon skirt on the bottom. I might have a picture somewhere.....
Good morning! Hope to get motivated and run before it gets too hot. Clean the house a little, do some reading for the dissertation and then go to the park with my husband. Lazy day.
QOTD we donĀ“t have proms in the NL so I never went to one.
Good morning! My mom left this morning after a 2 week trip. It was actually a lovely time, we didn't argue once! But it will be nice to get our flat back... we plan to do absolutely nothing and spend our entire evening ignoring each other, I need some time to myself!
QODT: Really simple, black sleeveless beaded top part and a floaty chiffon skirt to the floor. It was really pretty and I'd totally wear it again.

Morning. I just hope I don't have to spend the day on the couch again because of nausea. DD woke up at 5:50, but after a bottle she fell asleep for another 2 hours! Yoohoo!
QOTD: Junior prom: navy blue satin sheath with spaghetti straps and a little bit of chiffon at the top. I actually wore it to one of our dance class balls again a few years ago. Before I gained weight. Senior prom: light green sheath with spaghetti straps and little sparkles on it. See a theme? Thankfully, I wasn't much into frills and bows, so if it weren't for the size issue (and the fact that the cats peed on the green one at one point), I wouldn't mind wearing either of them to a function now.
BFP1: DD born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d
BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w3d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
The baby I'm watching is having a nap. So I'm watching TV and then I'll probably read. I'm not sure what I will do later this afternoon. I need to do the dishes. Boring.
QOTD: Sophomore year I wore a really pretty orange one with beading. Junior year it was a long coral colored one. Senior prom I wore a short purple dress with these awesome grey shows I found. I have a good pic of that one.
Having a quiet day today. Making roasted pork loin tonight with some veg. It is pouring rain here right now so I guess no beach day for this girl.
QOTD- For prom I wore a cocktail length pinky peach coloured dress it had tulip 3/4 sleeves with little pearls on it. with a fited drop waist then the bottom part was 4 folded rows. It was very simple especially for 1990.
Hi there, I am kind of tired. It's the wrong day of the month today, but I am getting a lot done. It is a busy day for many reasons.
QOTD: I only went to Senior Prom, I was really not into school dances or football games or anything. I did wear a fabulous dress. It was a true red satin A-Line with a separate, very fitted bodice. All smooth satin, with a tight modern sash and one red rosette on the hip. It was very classic and I would wear it today.
I worked out! go me! I'm slightly avoiding doing all of the cleaning that has piled up..
QOTD: Strapless, long A-line, sparkly on top and a bright pink color. It was a hand-me-down from my sister. I should have bought my own dress because while it looked fantastic on my sister who had a completely different figure than me, it just made me look like i had no shape

Just finishing up my translatin today and meeting with a friend this afternoon.
QOTD: Only juniors and seniors were allowed to go to prom, so I never went because I was an exchange student junior year, and I skipped my senior year.
It's the 25th now where I am...but...my week is full of classes and writing so fairly boring except to a person like me.
QOTD: I did not technically go to prom. I did, however, go to a prom with someone else in the US. I wore a black velvet dress. It was quite classic, and I would probably still wear it. I do realise this is probably abnormal, but the guy I was dating was a goth. It seemed appropriate even though I wasn't one.
